Lol It's the darker components of the liquor which contribute to the problem. "Clear" liquors usually have less headache associated with them, but "clear" can also make you feel "blahhhhhh" with less headache issues. Seems like the sooner you get up and get your body working (AND fresh air and sunshine), the quicker you'll metabolize things and "work through it"? Consider these discomforts a "feedback loop" where you learn to moderate for optimum enjoyment and least future consequences. "Sipping" helps, too! Much nicer that way!! Enjoy the taste and social aspects, remembering how nice it was, rather than learning of "lampshade moments" later on. Ahhhh youth! As a side note, on nights when "consumption" might be an issue (for others), do NOT drive in the inside lane of any multi-lane highway (after 10pm at night)! Reason is that if somebody mistakenly might get onto that road (as a "wrong way driver", they'll be on the (perceived, for their direction of travel) right-hand lane as a matter of course. Unfortunately, as they are in the wrong place at the wrong direction of travel (in the "fast lane" of the multi-lane road, for the correct direction of travel by others), bad things tend to happen. This was related, one Saturday night, on KAAM 770 "Sock Hop" by a sidekick of the host, who was a retired police officer. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! NTX5467 My brother's best man died that way a few months after my brother's wedding...on the "flat" prairies but they met on a train overpass - the one place he was travelling that he wasn't able to see the oncoming driver.
