nzcarnerd
Maybe a circa 1927 Nash??
keiser31
I was thinking Nash too, but could not find an exact match.
Dave Mellor NJ
The rear deck looks flatter on this supposedly 27 roadster. The door is rounded also. The cowl light's right.
nzcarnerd
The thing that I can't match is the disc wheel. I know most makers offered them as an option and there were several different makes. Note the mystery car's wheel is dished where I think Nash wheels are flat. Note also the distinctive pattern on the wheel where the bolt circle is. Another point is that 'protector pad' on the door. I have seen that on some cars but can't remember what.
BearsFan315
what is that little cut out near the bottom right of the running board ?? also notice the wheels have 2 raised round rings around the lug nuts, and that the doors go from top to bottom, and NOT rounded short doors. West Peterson
I think it's Hupmobile, ca. 1926.

The 'cut out' is for access to the grease nipple on the front end of the rear spring.

Guest Grumpy's Auto Shop
IF it's a Nash, I'd say '28-'31. Hood Louvres changed in '32 and the Doors changed in '28. But the wheels definitely say Hupmobile.
ch1929
Has cowl lights and the same kick guard on the running board.
padgett
Did Hupmobile have a short and long wheelbase chassis ? LWB would account for the door and the gap behind it.

nzcarnerd
The blue car in Keiser's post is an earlier four cylinder Model R Hup probably the last of them about 1925 . Edited November 8, 2016 by nzcarnerd (see edit history)
mike6024
The Blue one is '24 Hupmobile, just seemed to have similarities. Hupmobile RRS Special Roadster 1924. I just looked up Hupmobile because others were saying it and wanted to see what one looked like.
