Bill Harmatuk
Here's one for ya.This is sitting behind a chain link fence at a garage in Kinston N.C. Right beside Hyway 17.What a shame. Looks like the wood frame work for the body is completely gone.Has a 6 cylinder. Check out the swirl in the tail light glass.Don't know if it is for sale. Has been sitting in the same spot for over a year.
Bill Harmatuk
Here is the other Pictures of the Davis. This car is a Sedan. Body panels are thrown helter skelter in the car.
HarryJ
Rare bird....I wonder if any others have survived. According to the " Standard Catalog of American Cars" Davis was in business from 1908 to 1929. This car appears to be a late twenties model. It would be a challenge to bring back.
Manuel
That last pic makes me think it was a 4 door sedan once!!Manuel in Oz

Guest Graham Clayton
It would be nice if someone could restore it - those small independent manufacturers of the 1920's are often overlooked. Are there many restored Davis cars in the US?
28 Chrysler
The tail light looks identical to my 1926 Chrysler's.
avantey
My fiend who's name is Davis will like this! He has three Davis cars and one Canadian version with another name. He may even come get this for parts.
Guest Casper Friedrich
Apparently not the model of this wreck, but in 1922 Davis had a roadster named Man O' War.
DavidMc
I have just obtained the latest edition of our Restored Cars magazine here in Australia and in the Classifieds there is an ad for a Davis car, it looks in worse condition than the one above. It is advertised as a 1916 model 6 cylinder # 85-10561, but it looks to be later than 1916.
keiser31
The Davis here has all of the nuances of about a 1926. A lot of it looks like my 1926 Chrysler '58' 4-door that I had.
Dave Mellor NJ
This is the Davis most of us were expecting, the military version and the sneaker shaped
