  9. I found this on the Model T Forum and my comments seem to have fallen on deaf ears or maybe I've gone deaf? Does anyone else hear an engine so poorly tuned it will barely run and may even be damaging itself? Hear the gear grinding? If it would idle properly it wouldn't be an issue! Howard Dennis

  18. My 1917 Maxwell has a single filament bulb but the light switch has a "Dim" setting that runs it through a resistor. I've also seen period accessory rheostat levers that mounted to the steering column. http://forums.aaca.org/f169/early-lighting-laws-310575.html Howard Dennis
  19. Just a thought but one worth checking. I had the same scenario years ago on my 1965 GT350 Shelby Mustang. Found out the radiator that had passed with flying colors at the local radiator shop was in fact incapable of transfering heat from the tubes to the fins because of it's age, the solder was disconnected from the fins and tubes. See if the fins will move up & down or in & out. Howard Dennis
  20. I succeded in naming my daughter Shelby cause it was my sister-in-laws idea! Howard Dennis
  21. Really sorry to hear that. From 1973-1980 I had 3 Gt350's and a 1966 Sunbeam Tiger that had enjoyed his magic touch. Most fun I've ever had in any automobiles. Howard Dennis
  22. Years ago I and my Dad used to use a heavy wheel bearing grease called BG2 made by Valvoline. It was dark green or brown and very stringy as if it had fibers in it. Does anyone know if this type grease can still be bought and where? Howard Dennis
  23. Dave, saw this for sale on eBay in case you need it!
