  1. I am wondering if anybody has an idea on the meaning of some abbreviations on my 1938 Chrysler Imperial Body tag. ------------------------------------ C19BC-1408 229-632 RHCT OD JOB No46-4 ------------------------------------- From this, I know the following: C19: Imperial BC: Business Coupe 1408: Body number 1408 229: Gyro Blue Poly Exterior Paint 632: ?? Interior trim (no idea what material or color this should be) (My parts book lists this only as "Pile" material) RHCT: ?? OD: optional overdrive transmission. Job No46-4: ?? Does anybody have a clue what RHCT might stand for? The car doesn't seem to have any unusual options, but I am assuming this stands for some sort of optional equipment installed at the factory, like the overdrive transmission. Does anybody know, or have a car with the 632 interior trim? I'd like to redo it in the proper pattern if possible.
  2. Good used body, interior and stainless trim parts. Shipping is available
  3. 1937 LaSalle Convertible Roadster Project for sale or trade. Chrome done! Tons of new parts to build a wicked ride! If you are looking for a big project and to build an amazing rare late 30’s convertible coupe, please read on. This rare two-seater GM convertible body features both a rumble seat and trunk. (GM’s last year for a rumble seat.) The body and frame is from a 1938 Pontiac cabriolet that uses the same convertible body as LaSalle and Cadillac. The BAD news: Due to the poor and rusted out condition of the Pontiac fenders and floors, we decided to save the roadster body and build a 1937 LaSalle by using excellent parts from a solid California LaSalle donor car. We started replacing the floors and rockers, as well as the firewall, cowl and rear fender wells. This project still needs a lot of fabrication work, including squaring up the doors, replacing rusty trunk/rumble floorboards, convertible top work, and mechanical fabrication. This project includes a Helix Mustang II IFS Coil Over Stock 5x4.75 Power LHD Rack with sway bar and four link rear end suspension kit. The GOOD news: This project also includes an excellent and complete set of rust and dent free LaSalle body parts (everything you need) including the hood, hood sides, headlight buckets, front and rear fenders, running boards, doors, dash, cowl, firewall, floors and rockers. Best of all we have over $10K in very nice re-chromed trim parts (still wrapped in newspaper from being re-chromed in the 80’s) bumpers, bumper guards headlight rims, a perfect grill, hood ornament, hood trim, window trim, running board trim, all inside and outside handles and excursion plates for all doors, trunk and the rumble seat. The chrome is amazing, and would cost a fortune to find and re-plate in today's market. The package includes the following parts: Super rare 1937 Original GM roadster body/frame and convertible top mechanism and hardware (Paid $10k for car) 1937 LaSalle Donner car body parts. (Paid $12k) $10k in re-chromed trim parts. (still wrapped in newspaper from being re-chromed in the 80’s) (New in boxes) Glide Roadster and Rumble Seat. (Paid $1200) (New in box) Carbon fiber heated seat kit. (New in boxes) Helix universal 60.5 Front Steer Track Mustang II IFS Coil Over Stock 5x4.75 Power LHD Rack with Sway bar and four link rear end suspension kit, power window and door kits, new latches, remote control, trunk and rumble poppers $2300. (New in box) Vintage air heater and defroster. $250 All original dash components. Knobs, trim, speedometer, clock, gauges, radio control, map light, and lighter. (Gauges restored with new chrome by John Wolf for $1600) 1993 Chevy blazer 350 small block engine with AC pump and TBI and rebuilt 700R4 transmission. Over $40k invested. Take her home for $25,000 or trade for a 1927-1950 turnkey restored car. Ideally 1930-34. Love Nash, DeSoto, Chrysler as well as odd balls and unique orphan cars.Get out your welding torch and build yourself one of twenty in existence! When finished they sell for $100K+. The car is located in Oakland, CA and sold as is. The car does not steer or roll. No title. For more info, please contact John and include your email address.
  4. Parting out a rare 1938 Pontiac cabriolet roadster (only 5 know to exist) These parts should work on your coupe. Parts need restoration and fabrication as they have typical rust, dents, dings and some old body work. For sale are the hood, hood drop sides, hood trim, fenders, 2 sets of bucket lights, 2 grills, center silver streak trim strip, 3 lower silver streak trim strips and Indian hood ornament, all for $1300. Local pick only. 6. Not really familiar with these types of fourms. But I have a 1938 Buick special coupe. I would say the condition is 7 out of 10. It has the original window sticker and all the original documents when the car was first purchased. The car was purchased new by my great aunt in 1938. And have documents showing all this. It's never been owned by anyone other than 2 people in my family. There is absolutely no rust or body damage and has the original paint. Just trying to find out some info on what something like this is worth.

    1932 plymouth pb fenders

Does anyone know if the rear fenders from any other year/model from early mopars are the same as the 32 plymouth pb models? The ones on my car I don't believe are the correct ones to start with minus the rot. I have the inner fender supports for the steps since its a rumble seat, but no markings or anything what-so ever on the metal to show that steps were once there? If you know of anyone with rear fenders that work and are wanting to sell, please let me know, thanks, Nate
  8. Hi guy's, I need a rear bumper and a right front fender for a 1962 dodge custom 800. Preferably in good condition - at least not beat up. I'm - willing to re-chrome and repair small imperfections in the fender. Pics would be appreciated. Thanks, Tim Note; A 1962 chrysler newport rear bumper is identical, I'll buy that if it's in good shape
  9. I'm looking for a front left fender for a very close friend's immaculate 1992 Buick Century Custom Coupe. Unfortunately a deer did (thankfully) minor damage and I am having trouble locating a fender - NOS or aftermarket (not particular) that I can shoot for paint. It's a beautiful 40,000 mile car, treasured by its owner and very close friend. Any leads are most appreciated; many thanks in advanced. I can be reached at: 860-782-1554 or Private Messaged.
  10. My T has been fully restored, including new tires and upholstery, but has been sitting in my parent's garage undriven for about 14 years. I just got an offer for $30,000. Is this a good offer? If I were to publicly offer it for sale is there a good chance I could get more? Thanks for your insights. Len
  11. Up for sale or trade is this striking 1940 Pontiac "Silver Streak" sports coupe that has just completed an extensive two year restoration. Originally purchased in San Francisco in 1940, the car was put into storage in 1953 until restoration began in 2012. This seventy four year old rust-free California car purchased from the original family is like new again with nearly everything replaced or restored back to her original beauty. Restored features include: New sage green paint (similar to original Ludington green,) rich two tone bedford cord wool interior in correct stitch pattern, square weave carpet, finished trunk, headliner, wood grain dash and window frames (in multiple grains,) new glass, rubber, weather stripping, original cloth style wiring harness, two classic chrome seat belts, Firestone wide Whitewall bias ply tires, 6V battery, restored AM/FM radio, gauges and clock. Tidy undercarriage and engine compartment. All exterior chrome and stainless steel parts were replated and polished. Original details include: Original steering wheel, door cranks/handles, bakelite knobs, radio grill, heater, black glass Pontiac logo/Indian and original 1942 registration sticker behind the rear view mirror! This coupe is a true pleasure to drive, with great handling and smooth column shifting. Here is your chance to own a truly special stock pre-war fat fender coupe including wonderful flowing deco lines, tons of chrome, 1940 CA YOM plates and stylish details that set this car a part from the crowd. The car is sold as-is, and inspections and test drives are welcome on site. Radio, antenna and windshield wipers currently disconnected. $36,500 or OBO. Willing to trade (or partial trade) for a turnkey 1925-1960 restored car or truck. (Tend to favor 20's-30's Mopar, GMC, LaSalle, DeSoto, Nash, Hudson, Studebaker, Kaiser and other unique or orphan cars, trucks and convertibles in restored or survivor condition.) For 190+ photos of the car and link to a video walk around, please contact John.
  12. Year: 1941 Make: Lincoln Model: Continental Coupe Price: $75,000 Location: New York, NY Contact Information: info@cooperclassiccars.com 212 929 3909 The Cooper Classics Collection is proud to present this brilliantly restored 1941 Lincoln Continental Coupe. Only 850 of these majestic luxury cars were ever constructed. When first produced, the Continental was easily identifiable as a Lincoln, but its seven inch longer hood and body sectioned to be 3 inches lower than its Zephyr counterparts left no confusion about its refinement and subtle good taste. The fenders, both front and rear, were lengthened proportionally with the body. Positioning the spare wheel and tire inside a metal cover at the rear created a new design element, the continental kit, that would be a recurring element of American design for the next two decades. Of the surviving examples, few can claim the condition and careful ownership offered by the example here. The car comes to us from the estate of a highly regarded psychoanalyst from Beverly Hills, CA. This gentleman, a passionate collector of fine automobiles, ordered a complete nut and bolt restoration on this fine V12 automobile. The vehicle was used sparingly during the previous owners lifetime, and at the time of his passing it was put into climate controlled storage. Upon our recent acquisition, the car was found to still present in fantastic restored cosmetic condition. Of course the vehicle needed a complete mechanical recomissioning, which was performed by a top vintage auto mechanic located in Beacon, NY. As it sits the car is an absolute stunner. The paint is gorgeous, and the interior looks good as new. Even the original radio still plays! The original 4.8 L V12 engine, with sequentially numbered heads, rumbles to life with a push of the button, and shifts confidently through the 3-speed column mounted shifter. Sounding the two immense air horns under the hood while chugging along at highway speeds really gives one the feeling that they are piloting a true locomotive. A Classic Car Club of America Full Classic, the Lincoln Continental has never lost its appeal to drivers who appreciate its performance, quality, exclusivity and style. And the example presented here offers all of the above in spades.

    1990 Reatta Coupe

I bought this beautiful car from my friend's mother when her husband died at 92 years of age. He was a major car guy, and this was his driver (My friend swears his father parked it in the garage and covered it daily.) Nobody in the family was interested in owning it or taking the time to sell it, and the local Buick dealer had made a low-ball offer for it. Just to show how little the dealer was offering, I said I'd pay twice the amount, and the next thing I knew, I owned it. I'm not a collector or a mechanic, so while the Reatta is drop-dead beautiful and runs like a new car, I have it covered in the garage, unused, while I drive my rusted 95 Wrangler. Before I put it on eBay or craigslist, I thought I'd put it here in the hope that someone who really appreciates it might want to own it. I'll probably upset some of you with this, but the non-stock 17 inch chrome wheels on this car make it the best looking Reatta I've seen! I am asking $5000, and the car is in Green Bay, WI. Thanks for looking. Added: I can't seem to figure out how to attach either the form I've filled or a photo, so I'm posting it without the attachments. You can contact me at Jlayden25@yahoo.com and I'll email you pics and the form. 1. Year:___1990____ Coupe: __x__ Conv:____ Mileage:__119,332________ Considered Correct? 24. Hi folks, I'm new to this forum and as you can see from the title I have for sale, an original metal & wood luggage trunk, marked, "Steelwood", Watts-Moorehouse, Jackson, Mich. on the chrome latches. This is a recent barn find I picked up locally here in Virginia and appears to be in great original condition. It looks to have the original black paint, it has a straight back & front with a slanted lid and the nominal dimensions are 40" long x 13" wide x 19-1/2" tall. The chrome latches are original and contains the only markings on the trunk, however I do not have the locking key, they are in working condition. This is a heavy trunk and I would think shipping on it would be pricey, however it is available for local pickup, if anyone is interested, I am located in Williamsburg, Virginia - 23188. I have attempted to post pictures of the trunk, but am having a difficult time with the posting, so if you want to shoot me an email: va_longeye1948@hotmail.com, I can reply to you with the pictures. I only have a vague idea of the value of this trunk, but as with all things, condition is everything. I would say this trunk is in good to very good condition. I will not be checking this post or forum very often, so the best way to contact me is by email, va_longeye1948@hotmail.com. Thank you for your time and hope to hear from you soon. Ron
