true- we pay a high avg for new cars to meet emissions and safety and the rest of the world laughs at us and pays far less............. we then breath their exhaust a week later. good to be king for a day...........

But it really is Melanie's car, not mine. I'm OK with that, too. if you repeat it enough, you will eventually believe it................... -

Please explain WHY you think the price is right? Because "you can't restore one for that price? so you think you can buy these cars for under 8900 and that is fair value? good luck with that........................... this isnt 1929. -

When I first heard there was a crisis at the border I thought it was all those celebrities whom were going to leave the US for Canada on November 5th. Imagine my surprise to learn it was the border where Davy Crocket was shot 150 years ago. Just curious Bernie, did you corner the market on buying short bus's???????????????????? you know, to give the celebs rides across the border.....................

I posted the same ad several months back. Almost easier to buy a done touring car and turn it into a speedster. What I was offered was expensive and a lot of junk. good luck!

well I certainly see Restorer 32's point of view. I'ld rather hire elsewhere as well............. better chance of retention is important when it takes a couple of years to hone one's skills. It is a loss leader at the beginning of the process for the restoration shop.
-
well Newbie, I think you have a good grasp on what you want to do and pricing as well. good luck!

just listed my Cord on ebay- it is a Westchester. does run and shift, but will need a total restoration. should the car not sell, I will be restoring it mechanically to drive. rdz69@aol.com
