  1. Bob, use the "new posts" button and you see all the posts across all the forum listed from newest. There is at least 200 posts a day if not more.
  2. Bob, I agree with you. If the person put some amount of effort in, i.e. a description with pictures I'm more apt to want to be helpful. The guy that posted "What's a 49 Pontiac worth?" just got me to make a smart ass remark. Some forums require a introduction before making your first post. Not a bad idea.
  3. After I saw your hot shot at a show I've always wanted one. Of course, 1700 is just the down payment .
  4. Nice car! Perhaps the wood wheels are throwing me off, is it a 29 M or a 28 BB?
  5. No. Probably about market correct given the body style and condition.
  6. Also, the chassis number is stamped on the top of the right front frame horn just forward of the shock mount.
  7. The vin plate on a Hollywood is on the floor behind the right front passenger seat. The engine number is on a plate mounted on the right side of the engine.
  8. It would be hard to come up with a question that was more vague.
  9. I think there is some trolling going on. In general members fall all over themselves to be helpful - which is a credit to them. But, to be honest, a lot of the newbie posters need to put more effort in on their part first.
  10. Ron, Do you happen to know how an 18 year old was able to buy such a cool car? At this point I would think it has the longest continual single ownership of any Horch in the world.
  11. That 35 million may end up being better spent then many of the cars we buy here. Being successful is not a crime. Well... at least not until recently.
  12. If it was given to you there would still be no ROI. As for history, post it on the Hamb. They will figure it out eventually if it was ever published.
  13. Looks a like a fairly well done custom. However, some of the details and lines are off. Unless it is a famous car (which I doubt based on my last sentence) I would say 5k is too much.
  14. It is impossible to give any sort of reasonable advice without pictures.
  15. It POURED in Mass. Nothing puts the dampers on a car show like rain.
  16. It is good to see the LeBaron Chrysler being shown in it's unrestored state.

    1930 REO Flying Cloud

    Just follow the link.
  18. Duesenberg, Mercedes 540k, Packard/Pierce/lincoln/caddy V12, Marmon/Caddy V16, are all most collectible to me. You are asking us the wrong question. You should be asking yourself what you really like. If you don't love Ford 4 door Convertibles than don't buy one. If you can't find something you love that you can afford then wait.
  19. On a rare car like that you should go back to original with the drivetrain.
  20. The molding on the door looks Stutz to me so that is quite possible.
