trying to get a better pic of the buliding not sure when that pic was taken. But i do rember that when thecouier express was in the building you could see the printing press through the windows. now there was another paper in town at the time (dubois had 3 papers back then). still looking in to it. Im not fron this town but one 30 miles north but i moved here in the 70s knew a little about the town so looking in to this has been interisting. I did find out that there was a car built here in 1909-1910 called the Keystone. Only 2 know to exist today one is in pittsburg the other ? more info on that later.

found out some more info on pic . it is of the DuBois Hotel built appx 1888. but the newspaper did not move in untill 1961 from what i have read. The walkin door is the front of the building both windows are street level, to the right of the door there were a set of steps into the lobby it was built on a hill. here is a pic from 1925 that showes some of the buildingtrying to get better pic and better info

If the egr valve was ful of carbon then i would start at the begining check the plugs and wires cap and rotor in other words i would do a complete tune up then take it for a long drive to get it good and hot to burn off the carbon on the valves and maybe put in some combustion chamber cleaner

Found out a little more about the picture, I live right next door to the goodwill fire volenteer fire company so ask there , it is deffently the courier express office building thewindow that most of the people are standing is the front of the building there use to be an entrance off the side street for trucks to pick up the papers ( the building was on a corner, long ave&high street) thats how the car got n there. The person in the back of the car is possiably J.S. Gray the owner of the paper. on the left of the pic aginst the wall is a large radio, I was told that the radio is still around in the histoical society offfice. LL Stineberg was the photographer that took the photo he had an studio in the building . I will go to the historical society as soon as they open and try and get more info. I was told that ther was a studebaker dealre ship in town maybe Mr Gray bought a new car? I will try to find out asap

The paper is still there not owned by the same people but a large company went to the libary last night but was closed. they closed at 5 the histricol society is closed untill april 6 but iam still looking.

hey im from dubois the pic is in the couier express building which was the local newspaper the buliding is no longer there a new elderly high rise is there now. what is going on dont know. dont reconise any people in the pic. well i had to get dirty today boss said had to help him put the new rear end in , i normaly only do electrical and driveably problems but he wanted it in and done corectly. had it in and finished up in about 1 1/2 hours road test everything worked good the had to help the guy load up his tool box cus the fired him! not that it surprised me this isnt the first time something went wrong

The guy that works next to in the garage replaced the ebrake shoes and the brake rotor on a 3500 dodge truck the other day , the truck was towed back to the shop the next day with less than 100 miles on it. He tightened the wheel bearings witha inpac gun , broke the axle heated the axle tube so hot that it bent the tube broke the diff carrier destroyed the the ring and pinion. Took us about a week to track down a uses axle as they only used that axle for a 1/2 year in late 2001/early 2002 so very hard to find , the leangth was diffrent form other years to fit under the truck found some one in tex. that rebuilds them. cost 4,000.00 plus shipping and 800.00 core charge. new form chrysler just the housing 6grand. There was so much heat the i blew out a 10ply tire (new)

My oldest son finally came home after 13 months in Iraq, he was stationed at joint base Balad supporting the special ops troops. The last he saw his son was when he was just a week or two old, he is now 8 months old. Second picture my son, grandson and his wife. second picture, my little sister, sitting left to right my dad john and his son, myself, my younger brother. We are all thankful the whole 542tle came home safe and sound and thank them for a great job done.

they do make two diffrent ones one is for a gauge that would be a one wire switch, one with light will have 2 wires from advance auto parts the part number is wt356 price is 12.39. and i believe it is also advable from napa, when i got mine they had to order it but came in one day

is this a 383 if so has a double termial sending unit about 1/2 pipe thread set between the heater hose ill try to get pic for you and a part number got mine at advance auto parts but napa alos has it

more stuff to sell still cleaning out the upstairs if we dont sell its going to the dump. There is a box of a/c compressors not sure how many and appx 7-10 a/c clutch assemblys all new there are wiper motors water pumps not sure what all they fit but most are from the mid 70s to early 80s all are new or reman parts also a hood decal for a charger form the 80s would perfer to sell all in one lot 300.00 or best offer due to the weight speical shipping would be needed or pich up here or if close enough may meet someone half way. I use a blue point box, top bottom and side cab, along with a roller cart and cart for my lap top. have had them for at least 10 years now did havea mac box till i ran out of room

should have a rod connected to the carb for shift points and down shift the vac modulator is primarly for softing the up shifts .
