ok we got to lookat the car tonight it is pretty much like he said in his ad, only rust is on the left floor board and left q panel. He said the engine ran excellent just smoked that is why he pulled it out. He is the second owner he bought it from the original owner where it sat in the basement for 22 years, has all the original paper work including the preto-plate. couldn't get pictures it is storming real bad here, trees down lots of rain lighting. all parts are there he even offered to buy a replacement emblem which had gotten broke when he removed it. The reason he is selling it he is rebuilding a 1937 trumph motorcycle. He was going to customize the car but then said no he couldn't do that. My son is going to offer him 550. for it I thing it will make him a good first old car.

I have done a search thru advance auto parts came up with this part number Dorman part number 28410 oe wheel lug stud. did not give size of stud I know around our area dorman products are common in parts stores

I am very proud of him he has been in the army reserves since 1997 (why he never went full time is beyond me) he will do anything they ask of him when ever and where ever, he has been over most of this country running for the army . he has been to the gulf for 2 tours both times right in the bad of it. and never once did I here him complain. His first tour his group which he was in charge of drove over 1 million miles with no one hurt. last tour he was in charge of an airport somewhere around bagdad supporting the rangers.

lost a very good young friend on monday he was one of the marines killed in nevada. Josh was just 20 years old, work with both him and his step dad at the garage where i also work. He also just got engage befor he went to basic traning in july of this year. All he ever talked about was joining the service. I deal with napa most of the time they usually have and can get anything I need

your talking headers not standard exhaust manifolds? custom exhaust ? headers go to any good parts store that sells performance exhaust they should be able to get them for you. I get all my parts at napa they have a person there that I have dealt with for about 30 years he does not look up parts for older stuff in a computer he will dig out the books and look for the part. I went in the other week for a rear ujoint for my Chrysler 300 he didn't even have to look up the number he remembered the number went to the self and pulled it.

one way to check take the lines off the trans cooler have some one start the engine you should have fluid come out of one of the lines. if not then it is a pump/pressure problem, if the converter was not put in correctly it broke the front pump, you may get lucky you may only need to repair the pump (should be able to get the parts) and replace the converter. if it was jammed in hard it is posable that thrust bearings could have been broken. I don't know much about this trans but have done a few powerglides and few jetaways. I do mostly Chrysler trans from the late 60'to present. either way trans will have to come out.

I have contacted cragar wheels explained to them the wheels, but like I have heard before need picture (picture is worth a thousand words) sent picture on Friday night so I figure I should hear back Monday. I am having a hard time learning my new laptop(sorry net book as per my grandson). grandson havd to show me how to work adding pictures I t has windows 8 and its very different. I usuallydont have these wheels on when igo to certain shows, I wil put the original wheels on. the car is very original . its a 20-50 car--- 20 feet or 50mph. but I do take it to shows. most shows in this area if you don't have shiny paint and chrome they don't look. but that's for later

they are unilug wheels just need to get the proper lugnuts and washers , not cheep I paid $100.00 for the wheels with the tires 75.00 for the hardware
