  1. We are cleaning out the storage area in the dealership in which i work and we have found a box of reman ac compressors and ac clutches,(reman by a company call wheelers) along with some water pumps and some body strips(new) most things seenm to be from the late 70s early 90s, alos in the mix found a rear window glass from a 1968 dodge coranet wagon and i think there are some side windows also These are all parts for chrysler cars, also found a couple of boxes of replacement wheel covers, these are NOT factory covers but factory look alikes most from the late 70s mixed brand cars. Have not gotten a good look at what is all there yet but should soon and can give a better idea what is there. Would like to sell all in one lot but may break up.willing to make a very good deal. Wheelers was a company that supplied reman parts to chrysler. hope to have better list by this weekend along with some pic. and maybe some part numbers. if interested let me know
  2. Trying to repair the heater core in my 1965 chrysler 300 with AC , so i need to remove the heater box removing the heater hoses going to the water valve which is mounted inside the passenger compartment under the glove box Foung that it was sealed off fro the outside with piles of dum-dum after removing the stuff noticed 3 mounting screw holes, but after removing the valve found that there was no braket to which the valev could be mounted to, (this has been apart before sometime ing the past) question is is this the correct valve? It does work and i can probably afix a braket to mount it. Also what color is the ac lines since i had to remove them i will clean them up right now some one painted them black fittings and all .

  12. It did help our dealerships we sold out of all the eligible cars at all four stores now we cant get any new cars to replace the ones sold. Our toyota store has started to get a few, our Hyundai store has gotten a few now our 2 chrysler dodge and jeep stores well havent gotten but 2 or three, that i Know of our store has gotten 3 jeeps 1 van no trucks and just recieved a challenger last night before i left work. My understanding is that they cant make them fast enough to go around since all the plants shut down for a couple of months. the truck that was in there yesterday had Fords Gm and chrysler on it . so now we are kinda back where we started first people wernt buying now people are there but no cars to sell.

  15. It is kinda sad to destroy these engines, at least thats the way i feel about cus this car was somebodys baby at one time. And as a tech i always make sure the drain plug is tight no oil leaks and the thing runs and handles good, and yet i have to destroy a good running 62kmile engine for what? It just makes me sad
  16. our dealership has 4 stores and had appx 200 clunkers the blazer was the last one to get paid for. We didnt destroy any untill we got paid for them just in case!
  17. we finshed destroying the last of the clunkers today some went to sleep quitely some went out fighting, the last one went out fighting took about 1min and it was done. 2001 chevy blazer 4.3 first drain out oil them add 2qt juice then start and run at appx 2000-2500 rpm or untill wont run wait for 1 hour and see if it will start and idle if so repete process, never made it to 2000 rpm and for some reason it wouldnt start in an hour. This was the biggest piece we found on the ground!
