  1. LoL I'm like a kid in the toy store every time I drive the Riv. Gotta play with everything. Never gets old, eh? I'm still itchin for a loaded boat tail...but the prices are absurd these days.
  2. So my stock rear window fan just decided to quit. Strange. I wasn’t using it to burn it out. All the wires to the motor and switch are undisturbed. But I don’t see a fuse anywhere. Is there one? Thanks Paul
  3. I went to Orlando with serious interest in this car over a year ago. It smelled musty, had a cheap re-paint and the engine bay has been completely ignored. One of the dealers presented an arrogance that made me walk away. The wear on the dash parts and engine bay told me a rolled odometer. Nice car but not worth anywhere near the price IMO And there she sits still....
  4. Awesome I want one. I’d sometimes pay 20 bucks to send a friend off. Har har
  5. Fantastic. I believe there’s a bunch of banged up tanks out there. It’s about time!
  6. What?! I reside in Ocala. Maybe I can get a guided tour. Thanks all - great info 👍 PS: how many (14oz) cans of R12 you figure I need for a ‘67? Thanks
  7. Soooo, who provides functional Alma compressors now? I’m guessing Elvis left the building Thanks
  8. I concur with this statement: "WD-40 isn't actually a true lubricant. WD stands for "water displacing" and its main use is as a solvent or rust dissolver. The lubricant-like properties of WD-40 come not from the substance itself, but from dissolving components. And the effect doesn't last. WD-40 can be a good substance to start with — it can help clean up rust or other grime. But depending on what you're working with, you should probably follow up WD-40 with use of a true lubricant such as one based on silicone, grease, Teflon, or graphite" In my experience it evaporates well within 6 months. Then if you love it, you go buy more. Great for initial and quick fixes. It has freed up my window tracks, initially. I'm a fan of lithium based for tracks and hinges.,
  9. Kick the can Still has the mystery toggle switch. Nothin else was changed, either. I fail to see the “power locks” or “power seat” switches. Hope it does well.
  10. Yikes. How many pounds or cans does a first gen. system take?
  11. Most complete and finished '73 bumper cut/tuck I've seen. Its about time.

    '67 Motor Rock

No sir. Never have. I'll put it on my to-do list though and get the equipment. Ugh Thank you Mr. Bernie
  13. Happy Summer all! Maybe I'm paranoid but to me it seems my motor is rocking a bit much? I do keep my idle RPM a bit high due to garbage gasoline. I'm running 93 Octane and all is tuned to my best ability. Please view the video and let me know? Thank you https://youtu.be/S29IETJTDLc
  14. I recommend at least locking washers under those nuts. Maybe stake the bolt to nut. A lot of thermal expansion/contraction potential combined with drive vibrations. This reminds me - I need new shock absorbers. Any source recommendations?
  15. Anyone interested in these? Not perfect but very good driver level. Make an offer? And I still have a '67 grill, very nice. Again - you can come get that for free because shipping it would be a big hassle and can easily break.
  16. Fantastic. Did the new ones come with Zerks? One could do this whole job on a driveway?
  17. Whatever the ride I recommend the 6-way power seat. I’m just over 6 feet and tilting the back helps very much to get me away from the steering wheel to stretch my arms. Good luck in your search.
  18. I’ve heard WD-40 helps but I’m afraid it might make the paint even softer. Old wives tale?
  19. I don't think Sienfeld has one yet. Now, which comedian (with coffee) would fit this ride? I'm thinkin' some domestic, senior, classy guy...Johnny Carson would have fit the bill.
  20. Based on your photos, the pull knob separated from its metal screw. I would just JB weld it back on. Normally the screw stays with the knob. The knob with its screw together normally "screws" into the plastic on the switch assembly. It looks like your plastic is still OK. Just hand tight, its only plastic.
  21. I have a nice free air cleaner for the ROA team. Universal lid / California base. Seal is good. Surface corrosion on back of lid. I have no room for this stuff. You pay shipping / handling from 34482. I have some other stuff for any locals interested PM me. Thanks
  22. Wow. The seller must either now his Rivieras or has some cross reference data. Same mold as mine: Love your new tires Mr. Mike. Still wish you went with red lines though. LoL
  23. Check this one out. Partially blacked out lens. Did these fit others? A point +/- ?
  24. SuperbrightLEDS sells all versions. And some are smart with internal circuitry allowing reversal of poles in-socket. (They are diodes) You should read the specs for each model. Be warned: with old school dimmers and voltage regulators most LEDs pulse while the car is at low RPM / idle regardless of battery charge.
  25. Indeed. There were some very easy to do tweeking that could have been done. Its even missing the ignition key nut. The window roof seals were almost rotted / absent. It makes one wonder where the owner is. So much more potential?
