  1. And a fully charged battery will help push sticky motors. Those puppies draw some initial amps.
  2. Got your message Thanks everyone! Was busy at work
  3. I’m the worst buyer and seller - ever. I’ll gladly repaint her for that price. White interior doable in this Florida heat. Thanks for the motivation JZ Calling
  4. Considering today’s prices- this is a steal. I’m just not a blue paint fan: https://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/cto/d/saint-petersburg-1969-buick-riviera/7486741247.html $14900 OBO (not my car)

    Vinyl Repair

Good upholstery shops are overwhelmed with work now. I personally couldn’t live with seams. Best repair is done with a hot vinyl vacuumed wrap. JustDashes has a strong reputation but will cost you. JustDashes.com.

    Vintage Red?

Yeah - the car is incredible. Indeed the red seemed too vibrant. The chrome on the dash was flawless. Left quite an impression. I was looking at flights. I’m glad it’s sold - my blood pressure is normal again.

    Vintage Red?

I’ve heard there’s a difference between ‘71 and ‘72 Vintage Red. True? One lighter than the other? Thanks
  8. Would look even better in my car port. 😉. Cloth seats? Would love to see pics please.
  9. If your passenger side door is whole, you can use it as a mirrored reference. Then a visit to a salvage yard to get parts. Most GM parts that year are interchangeable.
  10. Here is a link to your diagram: https://www.teambuick.com/reference/library/68_chassis/files/120-h.php Figure 120-88
  11. I’d go with his Cloyes. My ‘67 original gears showed no wear or cracks. Absolutely stay away from new stuff if you can. Its all garbage.
  12. https://www.ebay.com/itm/265519978201 Just in time for Valentine’s Day. What a knock out! Does anyone know this car’s history? All those Rock Auto boxes are suspicious. Planned engine re-build? Adder: Thank the lord it sold. I was loosing sleep over this car.
  13. I’d consider a ‘68. But the ‘68 lost the beautiful die cast chromed dash and the linear tail bumper and lamps. They really where the icings on the cake!

That IS a lot of aluminum $$
  15. Oh your right. The initial beauty shock got me. There’s always more to see. Still looking…..
  16. If that’s the final piece to a restoration - (almost) priceless.
  17. Ditto. Especially with a loose bracket. Sheared at the block plane. Looks like a weld is needed. Get some Gates hoses while your at it. All other new fuel hose is quick rot from the inside out. Sorry for your trouble.
  18. Hubba hubba Shes got the vinyl top I like and fresh paint unlike my old gal. If this had white seats I'd be on a plane. https://www.ebay.com/itm/384684383122?hash=item5990f9db92:g:1c4AAOSwcaNh5ah8
  19. Only black. SEM paint to match. I photographed my install step by step. I can forward the photos.
  20. If that’s done right in fabric it would be worthy in the Review. Would love to see it.
  21. The replacement quartz clock power terminals are polarity sensitive. That’s how they get smoked. Ive done it without knowing and my Chevy clip once went on either direction - it had both negative and positive in one terminal clip.
  22. What a great story. What great teamwork. You all did fantastic

    Free '67 Carb

If I remember right - only difference is the rear base port which you would block and the metering rods are .001 inch tighter if I recall. I think you can swap the base plate. Otherwise its the same exact carb. I just replaced mine because I bought a refurbished one like factory new with all new plating. It was 600 bucks insane - I know. Its all in the '67 Service manual. I highly doubt any HP would be affected. I hate to throw this kinda stuff away.
  24. Just stumbled across my old '67 Carb/ With CA emissions. Sure it would work on any non-smog car. Solid - no cracks or warps. Free in Florida. PM me Happy Holidays
