  1. Don't worry about the time spent, the car is coming out really nice , and the time you spent on it shows.
  2. GregLaR, I love where this is going. I have a few Dinkys, and Matchbox cars, along with Promos. I really like what you are doing. . Could start a who;e new topic on restoring antique toy cars.
  3. 33/34 Fords are pretty cars. This is one heck of a car.
  4. Roger, incredible work. This project has a Soul. It actually breathes! Mr. Zimmermann, you get it!
  5. Ted, the truck looks great. Did you paint it?
  6. Amazing work. This is one outstanding Ford truck. Stunning job. John
  7. Luv2Wrench, all your hard work is paying off. Beautiful paint work. The dash looks terrific! John
  8. I had a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible with a 6, Powerglide back in 1974. Great running car. I had a kidney operation, and was side lined for awhile, and the car was sold. The fellow who bought it, was a local kid in Southern Fla., so I knew where the Chevy was. Unfortunately, a year later, he was shot and killed in a freak accident. I have no idea what happened to the car. The car was located in the South Miami, Cutler Ridge area. It was Tropical Turquoise with a white top. I always wondered what happened to it. It was the only 6 cyl. 57 Chevy Convertible that I have seen. Love to have it back. John
  9. JO BO , if you look on Ebay, there are several sets of tires and axles for the Ford. Look under Master Caster wheels and axles. Hope this helps. John
  10. Beautiful Hudson. They were one of the best looking Post War cars.
  11. JO BO , since all of the toy shows were cancelled this past yearbecause of the virus, I would check Ebay. If I find anything I will let you know. John
  12. Stellar work, as always Roger. You are a talented fellow with a ton of patience.
  13. Hemmings has fallen victim of the times. Like all other magazines that have gone under in recent years, Hemmings is treading water, and may go 100% digital sooner than later. Print is enjoyed by few , but not by many. I was a subscriber since 1975, but as of last year, I dropped my subscription. It is not the same magazine, that I enjoyed reading. They put too much into the auction, as opposed to ads. When the 1955/1957 Chevrolet section is down to a page and a half, you know times are changing for them and us.
  14. That is a very nice kit by Monogram . The Monogram Company made some very nice models during the 1960's. It doesn't matter if you build a roadster or coupe. The kit is actually worth more if you keep it unbuilt in the box, but as a true modeler, you have to build it! It is a nice find. John
