How could you sell a museum quality antique car collection?

I agree David Gooding is an honest person and his company is just head and shoulders above the others. All my dealings have been flawless and straight forward. -
Here's a photo I thought you might all like

It's pretty simple..... unless it's a one-off and therefore you'll never find another...... go find another car. Don't even attempt to teach the seller anything .....just move on.

It is all too easy to get caught up in drinking ones bath water.... Things are just not moving as much as you think. I, like many here, do keep an eye on things. I am also sure that you have all seen items sit unsold Post a list.... I am sure there are folks here that will give you a good idea what your cars are honestly worth. -
I have individual leafs Teflon coated in semi-gloss black. It lasts forever and doesn't chip or crack. Even if the surface is rough the springs will work smoothly, much like two blocks of ice together Further the springs don't heat and change rate. This allows shock rates to be set and left ..... this really helps cars with one-way acting shocks

To stop oil 'sweating' from castings happening into your oil Rustolium Rusty metal primer works. Brush on NOT SPRAT as the spray is a different formula I have an Irontite pressure bench that forces Irontite into heads and other castings. These pumps are no longer made but do work well. Hylomar, first made for Rolls Royce and sold in the US by Permatex is just the best gasket sealer ever. Never hardens, parts don't stick together at all! I began using it on Hewland gearboxes 40 years ago. These cases have no gaskets and sealed well with Hylomar

Bob if you find us a nice TT panel truck you don't have to build a crate for the Barrel Piano Maybe a truck we can haul the Miller in..... We don't need to go fast as you know
-
You can also fit a spring outside the spring and it will keep it from kinking But you'll need to apply a lot of grease on the valve an you've not much leverage. You might want to fit in brake line flaring fixture and then put the whole mess in a vice It's a tricky job as you've figured

T-M Be sure you get the year you saw..... content varied some from addition to addition. Not a lot but some.

Mike Did you read my post? I said they no longer had it and talk to Westmorland there not SOME LADY ...... He owns the company Did you talk to Westmorland? He is the guy that may remember where they got it..... MAY Yes you have to call it the right thing ..... Acme Headliner only has Headlining material ...... BUT I sit on this headliner material every day My desk chair is covered in Bedford Cord that I brought there
-
Pricy?? Maybe it caried mail to some dead president I'm sorry but how could this be big $$$$ ....... ? I honestly think some people like the taste of their own bath water
-
Last Bedford I got from Acme Headliner in Long Beach Ca $8-10 per yard Sadly they have no more when I checked last year.... the stuff is out there somewhere Mike You might call Mr Westmorland at Acme and ask. They are very very nice people there. You can get German stuff but it's a little different and IMHO not as nice Good Luck

My Mrs has pulled the body off her Miller. We'll pull the engine tomorrow -
It's the careful application of exotic clays and dirt..... Making it look far older than it is..... kindda like ex-wives many of us have.

Please spend the money get a good set of mics, mic stand, gauge blocks and a self-centering dial indicating bore gauge. Then and only then will you know if the shop is doing their work correctly In my case I got the quality the workshop had OR BETTER. Spent $1000's of dollars but driving peace of mind was worth it.

Yes but the post is boring and you don't even serve drinks.
