  1. You should contact Yesterdays. They are honest and speak very good English. They also ship all over the world See the link above in Craigs post above
  2. One dinner I explained to a fellow Stutz Blackwalk owner how the Speedster's had wonderful recovery skills from a four-wheel drift. After his face recovered color he explained how he ''Couldn't even think of doing that!'' That's cause he didn't have a lot of t-head Mercer driving time.
  3. A young officer pull me over one raining day. I was driving my 1939 GMC It was very unrestored then. ''Sir Your Right tail light is out!'' I said ''OK Lets go look....... See it NEVER had one!'' I started back to the cab...... ''How are your headlights?'' He was trying to rescue some respect! ''They are fine KID!'' as I got in.... He went back to his patrol car as I drove off. California law only requires two rear lights for post 1957 production The number of folks that know only one tail light gets smaller and smaller. Here I had to add several lights to the rear to pass inspection. AND they actually MUST have EU approval. This results in some rather ugly conversions
  4. Please be careful about production numbers Here are TWO different cars I found on the first page of a Google search Neither of these were Andy Adler's car. AND Adlers car was a old blue without silver shinning thru Somewhere in all our junk I have photos. Might be years before I can find them
  5. This is gonna be good. I'm making popcorn and watch:)
  6. Joe I think there are more than three. I have stood in front of three different examples! Honestly I can't think that I have stood in front of ALL of them. I did sit in Blackhawk's car at Hershey I don't know what's happened to Andy Adler's car but would bet it's one off most people's radar. I do think that I've seen a photo of severral together Good luck in the hunt
  7. Homeless Depot still carries cloth friction tape. Everytime we are home I a dozen rolls.
  8. All you need is a battery powered dock Basically self contained with built in amp. Try a Goggle search. There are a zillion options Look at Cnet for reviews. Quality varies test before you buy to see just which supplies the sound quality you want. I think you'll be surprised just how good some of them are.
  9. Yes as long as it doesn't crack and let the smoke out
  10. I still find things in barns. But the worst is finding stuff in Chicken houses
  11. Dave You mean!! It's worth atleast .50 cents more than that :D I do think he's reaching top $$$ here.
  12. You guys are correct ...... Hence my comment, BUT why believe a guy in Poland? Ever see a Russian bus?? Most are a large truck with a box on the back. It is very hard to understand how backward some things there are still.
  13. TG ...Just how is it you know so much about Mark's various fetishes?? He is so strange I couldn't even guess. The funny thing about this thing is the owner of this car sent me a request to 'Make an offer'' and when I said I don't Guess $$$$. He said he had 'no idea'' what he wanted. Very un-true. Several years ago a "Famous Low-ball Mooch'' made me an offer on one of my cars....... after that I would tell others that XX XXXX(he was a Dr.) offered more money than that...... Perhaps this owner will see this and quit sending me mail ....... Worse things have happened
  14. Don't buy a Ural!! Around here even the Pols can't keep them running They are real Ruski garbage And on this board you go post a price or drive it home...... We are here to take about or love of mechanical things NOT GUESS YOUR WEIGHT
  15. Do a Google for Century Spring Company..... They have a lot of stock
  16. Pull the wire out of the coil. Look in there and see if there is some green stuff down in there ... is the end of the coil wire green? If the green stuff needs to be cleaned off......... then you might have spark Hopefully
  17. Looks like a sports car body ad from 1950's 'Speed Age' Anyone else remember the Krugar Marmon? Ray Radford added the wood lights and took out the Marmon engine replacing it with an A Dusey since it had an A chassis Kruhat offered these as kits to finished cars. They were postwar and high standard
  18. Nope That was the guy years after.........
  19. Jokes aside Alfas are great little cars. Fun to drive and pretty robust mechanically. They can be complicated to work on. But I have seen them run without service for years.
  20. She has been known to escape and run away!!
