What do you dislike about Reattas?

1) It's a wallet drainer....:(

2) Teves system

3) Cost of new windshields

4) Dificulty of removing serpentine belt

A). People that think you mean Miata when you tell them what you drive. (I actually had a person argue with me that I was pronouncing Miata wrong until I loudly said it's a car Buick made, not a Mazda.)

B). The Sunroof (it' dl be fixed soon)

C). The Teves Brakes

D). The price for parts

E). Nickel and Dimes me to death

F). Did I mention the sunroof?

The fact that my Reatta does not impress my woman / women ......

After busting every knuckle I own working on, and wearing out what little joint matter I have left hand polishing and detailing the cars ...all I hear is "it's OK, but sorry, to me a car is just a car". EEeerrrrrr <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

P.S. And as Vincent Vega's post above, I to would like for just once, to have everything working for more than a couple of weeks <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Time to look for a different woman...With us, I showed Lisa the ad in the local trader's guide and she suggested we go take a serious look. She ended up buying the car for us.

I dislike the way the engineers decided to place the turn signal flasher in such a place that you have to take apart the dash to get at it. What is strange is the fact that they had a long enough pigtail on the flasher mounting unit that it could have been placed in a more acessible location. Mine now is easy to get at.

When one runs out of washer fluid one is reminded every 15 seconds, via the CRT, that one must replenish the washer fluid container IMMEDIATELY or dire consequences could occur!! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

Did I mention that it does this every 15 seconds?? <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> It's so annoying that I JUST HAD TO drive to Advanced Auto and pick up some washer fluid when mine ran out just to make the beeping stop! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

That, and low fuel.

And low refrigerant. I see no reason for the compressor to need to be coming on when it's 40 some degrees outside...

Low production numbers. Yeah it's nice having something not everyone else has but we pay for it. With just a few hundred thousand we'd have all kinds of options, especially replacing the Teves system.

You had either have deep pockets or a lot of time on your hands to keep Reattas running perfectly.

Too heavy. It weighs as much or more than a LeSabre. A few hundred pounds lighter and it would be like free horsepower and it would likely handle better too. The ride might suffer some, but I would trade that for a little weight loss.

What i don't like is the touch screen does not have as many features and options that the 89 olds trofeo's touch screen had. The olds touch screen had a compass feature that showed what direction your facing, plus it let you know ur turn signals were on to long by displaying the directional arrow on the screen, and it would display the front of the car with the headlights flashing saying headlamps suggested if the auto headlight feature was not active and it was dark outside.
