Guest F14CRAZY Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 I'd agree with Teves. The pinnicle of ABS, in the 80s Serpentine belt? Naw. You guys only have to deal with ONE

Roadster90 Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 The fact that my Reatta does not impress my woman / women ...... After busting every knuckle I own working on, and wearing out what little joint matter I have left hand polishing and detailing the cars ...all I hear is "it's OK, but sorry, to me a car is just a car". EEeerrrrrr P.S. And as Vincent Vega's post above, I to would like for just once, to have everything working for more than a couple of weeks

padgett Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Low car/high seat, lack of documentation, 15x6 wheels (at least this is curable).
Guest DTerry Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 It's kinda like flying a helicopter. You always know if something hasn't gone wrong yet, it's about to.
JWC Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Owning 3 drivers and they all need some type of work done to them. BUT on the good side they all drive PERFECT and getting good gas mileage.

She ended up buying the car for us.

Guest crtnrds Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 You have to add your own supercharger (or series I motor)
Richard S Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 No, not ANY Jaguar. The Chevy 350 small blocks rarely leak oil.
olbuickman Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 I dislike the way the engineers decided to place the turn signal flasher in such a place that you have to take apart the dash to get at it. What is strange is the fact that they had a long enough pigtail on the flasher mounting unit that it could have been placed in a more acessible location. Mine now is easy to get at.
ncgirl05 Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 When one runs out of washer fluid one is reminded every 15 seconds, via the CRT, that one must replenish the washer fluid container IMMEDIATELY or dire consequences could occur!! Did I mention that it does this every 15 seconds?? It's so annoying that I JUST HAD TO drive to Advanced Auto and pick up some washer fluid when mine ran out just to make the beeping stop! Ahhhh, you poor folks with 90's and 91's - you will never have this pleasure....
Guest F14CRAZY Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 That, and low fuel. And low refrigerant. I see no reason for the compressor to need to be coming on when it's 40 some degrees outside...
DeeBee Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Low production numbers. Yeah it's nice having something not everyone else has but we pay for it. With just a few hundred thousand we'd have all kinds of options, especially replacing the Teves system. You had either have deep pockets or a lot of time on your hands to keep Reattas running perfectly.
Guest Tammy Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 That all you fellow Reatta owners live too far away from me!
2seater Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Too heavy. It weighs as much or more than a LeSabre. A few hundred pounds lighter and it would be like free horsepower and it would likely handle better too. The ride might suffer some, but I would trade that for a little weight loss.
wellsguy77 Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 What i don't like is the touch screen does not have as many features and options that the 89 olds trofeo's touch screen had. The olds touch screen had a compass feature that showed what direction your facing, plus it let you know ur turn signals were on to long by displaying the directional arrow on the screen, and it would display the front of the car with the headlights flashing saying headlamps suggested if the auto headlight feature was not active and it was dark outside.
