Actually, if you look real closely, it's in five of the photos. I was hoping that by doing that, my Christmas bonus would be large enough to pay for the new wiring harness. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> (ching-ching, badabing). By the way, I got my front end installed last weekend. Now I'm fighting with aligning all the sheet metal. So close, yet so far. I'm sure it will be ready to fire up the day AFTER the roads are full of salt.

West, my Pop said it was 80 degrees in Fort Meyers yesterday. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

A little trailer trip and you can drive all winter. Besides, what's keeping you in Ohio? <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> A magazine editor could put a magazine together from Irag if he wanted to. Nice warm climate there too, they tell me. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Southern Ohio is very nice. Having grown up in Minnesota, where winters start before Halloween and run through April, and having lived in Atlanta 17 years where there's no such thing as winter, but the summers are too hot and humid, Southern Ohio is a very nice compromise. Four nice equal seasons. I like winter as long as it stops after 3 months.

As for shoo-fly pie... <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> Anyone want to trade for rhubarb?

No magazine yet, the suspense is killing me what year Ford is this that you're talking about?

Earl, I have a neighbor that raises carrier pigeons, maybe he can help you out. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Hmmmm, but then the magazine that West puts out is now so heavy you'd have to pay a sizable overweight charge! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

The Ridgefield Connectict post office has to be in the Top Ten of worst run post offices. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Mebane's post office managed to lose a member's region newsletter between my parent's house and that member's house. My folks can see this guy's house from their living room window.

I have also recieved a tax bill from the town, in November. It had been mailed the 1st of August. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Well... it's better than sitting around waiting for stories on carburetor rebuilding!!! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

David,

The Mebane Post Office musta taught our post office how to do things. The majority of our region newsletters are sent to addresses within 20 miles of our house. Some months, I'll have 3 or 4 members say they never received the latest issue. A few members do get lucky and receive it.... anywhere from 3-4 months later.

Waiting to receive the latest issue of AA everyone is talking about.

Surprise, surprise. Got my AA mag last night. Beautiful front cover (even if it is a Ford product on it). Can't rmember the guy's name but got a great shot of the bus on the inside cover. Excellent story from Joy about her King Midget - a must read article.

Hey West-

Just found the mapp gas torch, lighting the fire now. I have a spare if you want to join in the fun, or you can hold Jeff's feet........ <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I'm still <span style="font-style: italic">trying</span> working him over, but this has been rather difficult....

With my luck I'll get the magazine about the same time he gets the story done.

Got a chance to see the issue of AA... Di brought it to the hotel last night.

From the pages I can see.. it looks great.

It's just a little difficult to read. Every other set of pages between page 17 and page 76 were not cut by the publisher.. For example, the top of pages 17/18 is connected to the top of pages 19/20. Thus I can read only every first and fourth page. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> When I get home for the weekend, I'll need to find an exacto knife so I can read the inner pages and see what I am missing. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />.

Anyone else experience the same condition?

Don't cut it Bruce! You have a <span style="font-weight: bold">rare</span> issue there and should be able to get millions for it on ebay. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Yeah,right <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Hey Man, everybody in Sebring could be a member, although unfortunately they're not. The guy next door also does some restoration work for me too. And, 25 years ago he finished the restoration on my blue Buick, and my yellow convertible sedan Buick. Started them both in '78 and finished them in '81 and '82 and they're still winning National trophies. Now who could ask for a better next door neighbor then that?

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">It's your postman's fault. He probably kept thumbing through it looking for a carburetor rebuild article. Knowing that it had to be in there, he just kept looking, and looking, and looking. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

</div></div>

I've already set two toes on fire with the mapp gas torch <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />. At this rate he may loose the whole foot. I dunno what I'm gonna do with him.

And yes, the mail service really does stink. I got my 'customer satisfaction' questionaire from the Postal yaks-r-us Service & vented my spleen with it. I have a feeling it'll go striaght to the round file, provided it even gets there... <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Be nice to your postal delivery person West. They aren't known to have a sense of humor and patience (I think it's because of having to wear those shorts and drive those things that replaced the right hand drive jeeps).

....Remember, everytime you see a flag at half staff in front of the Post Office, it means that someone got mad at a coworker and they're hiring <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Hey West

I brought home a second mapp gas canister & he's actually <span style="font-style: italic"><span style="font-weight: bold">started</span></span> writing! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> I'm keeping it handy 'cause me thinks he's in for a looong night <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
