EmTee
Interesting that the article didn't come out until June '65. There was limited (if any) chance to order one if you wanted to after the magazine article appeared.

Pat Curran
I have been a subscriber of Car and Driver for many, many years and I saved them all. When I moved back in June, I had to downsize my literature collection. I spent days going through boxes culling out my favorite editions. Rest assured, this issue made the cut!
Shootey
I also like the peek of the Chaparral article reference. 1965 was Jim Hall’s heyday and mine as a graduating high school senior.
dr914
we can all read and dream! Go back in time, stop the Kennedy assassination and then go a couple of years later and buy a loaded grand sport

I was a Car Life subscriber in early High School. My first introduction to the Riviera. Ten years later I bought a '68. The mailing label is still my valid address. The magazine is in the garage.
NTX5467
There also is a C&D "Road Research Report" on the 1964 Riviera, with the 425. I found it via a Google search. Has a great view of the 1" wide whitewalls, too. NTX5467 Edited July 31 by NTX5467 (see edit history)
60FlatTop
1" biased whitewalls without rally wheels. Correct wire wheel covers. And an incorrect aftermarket vinyl top that little old ladies will run across a parking lot to tell me is wrong. Bless their pounding little hears. 3
