They missed a huge one here in central NY State, with over 200 vehicles.

I wonder if these museums had to pay to be on it.

Perhaps the NE Classic Car Museum did not want to pay the fee.

Is it correct to assume that if the auto museums made themselves known to the company that produced the puzzle they would have been possibly included? Or if the company was aware to publicity by the museums they could have been considered/known about ?  If you have a collection of something ( anything besides motor cars) you need to have someone on staff that is making the effort to let people know that the collection of whatever exists. Museums should at least take a tiny advertisement in major Club periodicals at least for a year to "spread the word". ( HINT HINT the AACA magazine that gets seen by the thousands of members!!. ) Also if that museum has an active staff in a library collection that has period information and images.

That is how I knew about the National Motor Museum Collection in Beaulieu England and made a point to visit - found an amazing period photograph there of a model 48 Locomobile they copied for me. One can't assume that people/collectors/ enthusiasts know you exist , they don't......................

Don't know if it still exists, but the Windsor Antique Auto Museum was a pretty good collection including Edsel Ford's 1939 Lincoln. Bob Gault was the curator.

Only the other day I learnt there was a museum literally down the road from me! Privately run and word of mouth only - need to make a booking to have a look.
