ericisback
Concours 1965 Buick Riviera GS heading to Mecum next month! Any guesses on what it will go for? I saw one almost as good as this one on BAT sell for $160k... https://www.mecum.com/lots/1098440/1965-buick-riviera-gs/
Pat Curran
If it is truly “concours,” it should at least have the correct center caps!😁 And don’t even get me started on the 2 Gran Sport emblems on the rear panel. It is a beautiful car though! Edited December 5, 2023 by Pat Curran Update content (see edit history) 3

Plenty to choose from if that one doesn't strike your fancy, Pat. https://www.raleighclassic.com/vehicles/1948/1965-buick-riviera-gs
dr914
so they do this car and then install a cheap chinese radio in it? and I do not think that the seats are recovered in the correct pattern.
jframe
No labels on the fan shroud or radiator either. Think the trunk cardboard should be gray instead of the tan. Battery cables routed incorrectly? I know I'm nitpicking, but concours is concours.

They manage to find some exceptional vehicles! Unfortunately, my wallet doesn’t quite live up to my tastes!

Deadpurpledog
Don’t know concours, however, thought interior would not show ware with silver where black should be, etc. are flaws like this acceptable?
RivNut
In my humble opinion, Concours events are for cars that are finished beyond normal expectations. Those cars are probably nicer than the day they rolled off the assembly line. Beyond perfect.
65VerdeGS
That gold GS does have some 'anomalies', as others indicated. Other non-stock items are the outside rear view mirror on the passenger side, and unusual seat belt retractor mechanisms. Yes, it's rather nit-picky (and fun) to criticize what is otherwise a very nice car. But the prices on Gran Sports are getting out of hand!
