TerryB
If you are involved in organized crime as a hit man for the mob, the large trunk can be a worthwhile selling point.
Bloo
Can't tell for sure if there's overdrive, but I think I see the knob.
DrumBob
Am I the only one who thinks this car is "ambitiously" overpriced and extremely unattractive? I guess you just have to like the design of these cars. To each his own.

Certainly an unusual styling but not that odd for the timeframe. My dad and his brothers liked them and his brothers bought them as used cars. Today I enjoy the uniqueness of them. As for price I don’t know how realistic it is.
1957Birdman
There is definitely a reason that the 1955 Chevies and Fords outsold this car by miles. Lew Bachman 1957 Thunderbird

The side profile dates from 1952, and if you search for pictures of a 1952 Nash or 1953 Nash, I think you'll like those. In my opinion, the 1956 Nash, when 2-toned (or 3-toned), was one of most unattractive cars of the decade. The center grille is strange, and its concave shape makes it worse. The 2-toning on the side has an awkward shape, and the 2-toning around the front parking lights accentuates the oddity: Edited August 31, 2023 by John_S_in_Penna (see edit history)
JACK M
Tell us what you really think. LOL I like these cars, I recall that the seats lay all the way down for sleeping?
dictator27
I like them. Nash had nothing to lose by being a bit different. The front end styling was adapted from the Nash Healey designed by Pininfarina.
58L-Y8
The 1955-'56 frontal styling inspiration was from the second-generation Nash Healey by Pininfarina. As interpreted for the full-sized cars, it's an acquired taste...

TerryB
Fun 6 minute commercial for 1956 Nash. The announcer has a lot of fun with this.
jimkf
With the fold down front seat, the Nash was the car that made parents out of teenagers...
