Yeah, we are in agreement regarding the dash. Can you imagine the glare off of that sucker?

No because I wouldn't be able to open my eyes.

A 1950 Olds 88 Holiday coupe is a somewhat rare and highly desirable model to collectors. I don't know about the price but the car does have an overall nice appearance and if it's been a dry climate car all it's life it may be worth the effort to kind of re-restore it back to more correct originality. Interior-wise the seats & door panels would need a complete do-over with more correct materials. Painting the interior trim and dashboard (and of course the roof, I would prefer black) wouldn't be that big of a deal. However, the original brake pedal is gone and it looks like there's some kind of power brake system in place. There are no pictures of the engine compartment at all and maybe more modifications were done under the hood that might detract from the car's value. Replacing the hubcaps with the correct ones would be an easy fix. IMO this is one collector car from the 1950s that will surely increase in value. If this car really has a rust-free western body with nice paint & chrome and the mechanics check out maybe a serious Olds guy should check it out. Just sayin'.

Are there any other makes of cars in 1950, that share that same hardtop body?

Same body, your choice; overhead six, flathead eight or overhead V8…..

Back when General Motors was truly General Motors. 😌
