kingrudy
Sweet looking car. A 98 convertible in a very pretty color with all the bells and whistles. Now I believe that if you want all the money for this car, why don't you try to have that flaw repaired, or at least get a quote for the repair and include that in the description. I believe the seller really loves this car (based on the price). Some things are hard to let go of. Marty Roth
Very solid looking, and should be a fantastic driver, more in the mode of our '54 Caddy convertible. If I didn't have mine, I'd be looking at something like this.
Rivguy
That is why you don't let your girlfriend bring her dog in your car. For 30 +grand, you'd think that he'd fix that first. Otherwise a beauty.

DavidinCA
The car is beautiful and I think the price, while healthy, seems in the right range. I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t sell soon.
DrumBob
Gorgeous car. Will sell if priced right. His early expectations were, as they say, "ambitious."

JACK M
I have had a car up at the stage at beaches in the past. They pick 6 or 8 cars and interview the owner. I guess they are all "best of show" to whoever picked them out. (Probably the high school parking crew). The Beaches cruise is an every Wednesday thing during the summer months at the Portland International Raceway. They get hundreds of cars every week. FUN STUFF
theconvertibleguy
It's wild that the price has almost dropped 50%. I wonder what's keeping buyers away?

FUN STUFF By the way, this gathering is nowhere near any beaches. "Beaches" is the name of the sponsoring restaurant. And it is just outside of Vancouver Washington. (Maybe ten miles away from PIR). There is much more on this story and why the cruise is in Oregon, but I won't go into that now.

Ask whatever you want, “For Sale” doesn’t mean sold. Cars, houses even stocks are SOLD at their market price, not at a number picked out by the seller. If you just want to show it off, price it as high as you want and you will continue to own it for a long time. Need it gone quickly? Out of your driveway, cash in hand? then you will have to accept what the market will pay (that location, that day, those buyers) not “what it is worth”. Nice car. Very pretty. But the market is speaking, not the seller. FYI this always comes up with the comments “But I see them advertised for…” or “They are selling for……” people might be asking, but it’s not what they are selling for. Cash in hand from one auction or after 30(?) days of advertising is the true value .
Robert G. Smits
Interestingly a 53 Eighty Eight convertible just sold on BaT for 39K. Not as nice as this one in my opinion

Not as nice as this one in my opinion there's also the BaT markup to factor in. Personally I wish this was Canada side. ~35k CAD for this would be a steal.
