Ron Lawson
Can't wait for Matt to start another restoration so that there is something interesting to read on here 1
nearchoclatetown
Yea, but he's a lot older now then he was when he dug out the Victory Roadster. This one might take 8 months instead of 6.

Bullfrog_eng
Likewise, hope everyone has a great and safe festive season. And I hope Matt does not start something new. I know what he does is interesting, but it just makes me feel inadequate and lazy.

22touring
I'm not worthy; I'm not worthy. I am aspiring to be the Mini-Matt, but first I have to learn how to assemble everything correctly the first time so I don't have to take it all apart again. That kind of thing will greatly reduce the progress you are making on the restoration. So unfortunately I've got a ways to go before I become the Mini-Matt.

He's knee deep into the Rolls Royce project. Not sure why he doesn't FB, I don't follow that. I am trying to get him back on track with a DB I know of that needs a good home. As to comparing Ted and Matt, I have witnessed the amount of work Ted gets done in short time. It is real. I still say Matt uses time lapse photography, like the lima bean that goes from seed in the ground to bearing fruit in 10 seconds. You need to visit him often and prove me wrong.

I hope to catch up with Matt some time next year I would visit him more often if wasn't 2300 miles away Speaking of Ted ,he will be a while on the RR as I recall him making the comment that the body has to be made from scratch I still have a few small things to finish off the Senior then my next project is a 29 K model DeSoto Holden bodied roadster

Mattml430
Hahahaha So I fall asleep for a few days and this happens. 😂 The house renovations are pretty much complete just have the old shed to pull down but that’s not a huge job. I will be starting a new restoration for a fella that his family has had a 24 dodge tourer since new. It’s a full top to bottom resto so I’ll post all of that. Also have a Graham bros truck that needs a little bit of finishing of that I’ll be doing first. The dodge’y bros have taken home a few prizes this Christmas. Ron took home the best restoration at his club. Well done Ronny We had our VDC club Christmas lunch yesterday and it was a great turnout with over a 100 people. Then there was was one couple that took home way to many prizes. oopps!!😬 Jude and I won the table prize and then we won the hamper. Then the Victory six roadster took out the Warriner Trophy for best restoration and they also judged it for the club concourse and it one that also. So we had a pretty good day all round. Promise in the new year I’ll post my progress on the new restorations. To everyone on here have a safe and Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year. 4

I think it’s a 27 but not 100% sure. Haven’t really looked into yet.

They were the nicest people to deal with it made the whole thing so much easier. I’m slowly getting there with it all I’m just sorting out the paint room at the moment. I’ll take a couple of pics of it all. He left a heap of benches along the wall for me to.
Mattml430
pan brake and Gilo panel work area and press hoist. That’s an old Daimler there. Work bench area. This will be my sanding and painting area. It’s all just a shit fight spread out now. 😂 Still a fair bit of sorting out to do but I’m getting there.
Minibago
A nice big shed, it will all take time to sort, keep up the good work. Nice to see the VDC recognition and awards for your outstanding work on the vehicle side.
