Not mine - I have no personal interest in the sale of this 1926 Cadillac.

Ok, this is an unrestorable "parts car" but it must have a interesting back story.  Right hand drive with non-USA plates (British?)

Limousine, but it has a curved glass divider. You don't see that everyday.

Is it really unrestorable? If there’s a will…

Physically restorable certainly, but hard to imagine someone spending $100,000 to 150,000 to restore something that might be worth $30,000 to $50,000.  (Closed car - divided limousine).

That curved glass divider is a very interesting touch! Not nearly as difficult to source in period (think of the windows in a Victorian Queen Ann's turret) than it would be today.

Source: 80 Years of Cadillac-LaSalle by Walter M.P. McCall:

" A new slanted "VV" windshield with a small triangular windows positioned just ahead of the A pillar introduced on closed Custom Series 314 Cadillac in January 1926.  This is the imposing Series 314 Custom Seven-Passenger Suburban equipped with this new Fisher windshield design.  The Custom Suburban, on 138-inch wheelbase chassis, was priced at $4,285.  The most expensive car in the line was the Series 314 Custom Seven-Passenger Imperial, at $4,485."

That was a heck of a car to be shipped to NZ when new (or near new?) and now rotting away in California . . . .  😢
