1948 Triumph 1800 Roadster - $15,500 (Lake Toxaway)

Comes with extra body, doors, hoods, trunk lid, engine, transmission, firewall, steering column and 2 boxes of extra parts. These cars are built out of aluminum with steel fenders. New tires, hubcaps, brakes three years ago. Ready for restoration with lots of extra parts to sell when your done or just drive it for now. Title in hand. Heritage Certificate in hand. Interesting cars, especially to Triumph fans.  Neat upscale bodies but a lot more car to move around than a TC, I think that has kept values fairly low relative to rarity.  I have seen a few over the years but only maybe one in concours condition.

The yellow does not do it any favors.  Complicated wood structure in the body. Slightly Awkward looking in person. A mild performer . But quite a bit of British charm. Not high on my list of cars to buy, but I do enjoy seeing them at Field Meets.

I like it!  I’ve never seen one in person but I’ve been intrigued by these before.  Sounds like you get a lot of spares thrown in, which is great if you can get it all home and if you have a place to store it. I’d probably check it out, even if it’s just to see one up close.
