That is a really nice car.   Two things:

1.  I hate when people say "Museum Quality" because it means they don't know what they are talking about.

2.  There have been a couple of semi customs towncars for sale in the last year for around half the price.

I seem to remember Tom L having one as you mention “about half the price”

I wanna hit the lottery then I can be chauffered around town in a cool old limo like this.

I’ll find one of the semi custom town cars that were for sale for significantly less money. In fact probably the price of a decent Trans Am. I just need to get in front of my computer and I’ll post them.

This car, awarded its prizes more than 25 years ago,

probably can't be said to be in #1 condition any more,

so a #1 valuation isn't appropriate.  It does look very nice

in the pictures, however.

If it truly was "museum quality," as the seller states,

that could be translated as:

"Car is a deteriorated restoration.  It sat around for

a few years in an estate, was donated to the museum,

and hasn't been run in 20 years.  Don't plan on driving it

until you spend thousands of dollars for a thorough going-over!"

This one that Tom had.  I think the last ask I saw was under 60k.   Original paint car that was very presentable, but not as nice as the subject car.   But a Rollson semi-custom open front town car trumps a factory limo every day of the week.

I was interested in this car and went to Tom's to see it about this time last year. It's a decent car - 'tour car' appearance - and not nearly as sharp as the photos depict. A #3-ish on my subjective scale.

I agree.  Presentable tour car was my thinking.

btw, Nothing ever looks as good as it doesn’t the photos, because photos lie!
