bryankazmer
A very fine car, but it does not have "all available accessories" - no factory AC
alsancle
That is a really nice car. Two things: 1. I hate when people say "Museum Quality" because it means they don't know what they are talking about. 2. There have been a couple of semi customs towncars for sale in the last year for around half the price. I seem to remember Tom L having one as you mention “about half the price”
58L-Y8
It appears at Hershey annually, provides an interesting counterpoint to the '40 Darrin Victorias that are also shown.

I’ll find one of the semi custom town cars that were for sale for significantly less money. In fact probably the price of a decent Trans Am. I just need to get in front of my computer and I’ll post them.
TAKerry
Funny enough I do have a chauffer (i ride shot gun most of the time) only in a F 150. Then again its probably not much cheaper than a real limo, 😃
John_S_in_Penna
This car, awarded its prizes more than 25 years ago, probably can't be said to be in #1 condition any more, so a #1 valuation isn't appropriate. It does look very nice in the pictures, however. 3 hours ago, alsancle said: I hate when people say "Museum Quality" because it means they don't know what they are talking about. If it truly was "museum quality," as the seller states, that could be translated as: "Car is a deteriorated restoration. It sat around for a few years in an estate, was donated to the museum, and hasn't been run in 20 years. Don't plan on driving it until you spend thousands of dollars for a thorough going-over!" Grimy
Are those current photos? I'll bet not--they appear to be low-res scans of photo prints which may have been taken when the car was in all its glory.
alsancle
This one that Tom had. I think the last ask I saw was under 60k. Original paint car that was very presentable, but not as nice as the subject car. But a Rollson semi-custom open front town car trumps a factory limo every day of the week.

I was interested in this car and went to Tom's to see it about this time last year. It's a decent car - 'tour car' appearance - and not nearly as sharp as the photos depict. A #3-ish on my subjective scale.

Presentable tour car was my thinking. btw, Nothing ever looks as good as it doesn’t the photos, because photos lie!
