1935 Plymouth touring sedan - $16,500
AdamInNH replied to Leif in Calif's topic in "Not Mine" Automobiles For Sale
What’s not to like here? Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately?) I have garage space for just two old cars, so that keeps me grounded. The third lives in a nearby friend’s garage. Else, I’d have a warehouse full. -
1955 Chevy Nomad project - $30,000 (Aloha OR)
AdamInNH replied to 7th Son's topic in "Not Mine" Automobiles For Sale
Around 1987 or so, friend of mine in San Jose found a ‘56 or ‘57 Nomad - I have photos somewhere, it was in way better shape than this one. Original paint and interior. Was sitting in the seller’s backyard for eons. $300, or maybe it was $500? Took nothing for us to get it running and driving. -
@dsasaki - I was your Uncle George's roommate about - yikes - 40 years ago! We had many, many motorcycle adventures together. Two years ago (photos you posted), when I visited George, I put a note with my name and number on it in the car. If you don't buy it, I would like give it a good home. As to shipping, I will send you a private message and will refer you to a couple of trustable, old car transporters.

My most recent +old+ adventure, a 1912 model 43. My prior oldest car is a '32 Pierce, so this Buick is a different beast. Starting with the easier stuff - polishing nickel 😁.

The Brown, Tan, Pale Yellow combo. Nothing dates when an old car was painted more than these colors. -
1924 Paige 6-70 Touring Sedan- - $25,000

Damn! If I’d only known about this car years ago, I had a pair of suede platform shoes that would’ve matched this car’s interior perfectly. -

1938 Buick Special convertible - $70,000

Nice looking. Even if the color is year-correct, I call it +Baby Sh** Beige+. I suppose Buick had a fancier name for it back then. This car was for sale at least a year ago. Maybe $70K for a Roadmaster - the best one I the world, but not the one level-down Super. $70K can buy a very, very nice ‘41 Cad convertible coupe, Full Classic. I know, I sold mine just under that $ some months ago. -

Even if it is a club sedan, ‘33 90 series clubby is a pretty uncommon car. -

Angled grille. Front fender shape. A ‘37 or ‘38 115. Perhaps a 120?
