parkertom
Neat. I guess it’s more modified than a restoration though. Edited October 5, 2021 by parkertom (see edit history)

60s GM Fan
Is it just me or is everyone right now asking top dollar for #3 cars and unfinished projects? It seems even barn finds are being sold with an asking price of 20k and up.
lancemb
It's a beautiful car, but regardless of how much was spent to restore it you have to really love the customizations to spend $50k+ on it

papermuffins
Beautiful paint. Interior is a big turn off for me, as is the small block chevy although the detail and cleanliness of the engine bay & motor are top notch. Price is wild though.
avgwarhawk
I know to each their own but...the 59 as she came straight out of the factory can not be improved with modifications. Just one man's opinion.
TexRiv_63
Way too much money spent fixing "problems" that did not need fixing. Did the 59 Buick have rear leaf springs? I doubt it. Wheels, tires and pipes look cheap and detract from the appearance.

Those are best left to Corvettes. 1
drhach
I would think if you really wanted to "Spare no expense" you would have rebuilt the nailhead.

While it's not done in our taste, there are plenty of people who like custom Buicks. There's even a Modified section of the forum. I wouldn't having one modified myself, I would just do it differently. Since the Modified forum doesn't have its own Buy/Sell section, I would think it belongs here. I just don’t like describing a car as restored with no expense spared when it’s really a modified. Interior upholstery is nice but is much easier than sourcing correct materials and having that done.
