Hello, this Sunday I was at an American car exhibition (Rock and Cars) at the restaurant "les 3 brasseurs" in Blagnac near Toulouse in the South of France.
It was a very beautiful day with a beautiful car and music :)

My neighbor's Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat widebody, my 1978 Dodge Monaco police and a very nice Lincoln in superb condition

You'd never know you were in France looking at all those photos!   The only vehicle that I've never seen here is that Renault Estafette van next the VW.

Actually the way to tell is that only the Mustangs, VWs and the Sprint Speciale were able to fit within the spaces....😁

Its getting like that here with less space to park!  Costco is about the only place left with decent size parking stalls!

The Alfa Romeo BAT (or Berlina Aerodinamica Tecnica) are a series of Italian concept cars. The cars originated from a joint collaboration project between Alfa Romeo and the Italian design house Bertone that began in 1953. Three cars were built: the BAT 5 in 1953, the BAT 7 in 1954, and finally the BAT 9 in 1955.

Thank you 8E45E :) , it was a beautiful day and it was a beautiful place :)
Yes, the Renault Estafette was very popular at the time, a lot of people had it and keeping it less.
Even now for fun we call an Estafette a Renault Master 2021 or a Fiat Ducato 2018, or ...
For example we say : "Mathieu is going to start the Estafette" while talking about a Renault Trafic 2015 for example :D

I am just curious as to what these cars would cost to buy and keep running over there.  Some of those bohemouths Must be hard to get around with on French streets.  Probably not used as daily drivers.

Some are used on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and other people drive almost all week with it, it depends on the person but in any case they are all very well maintained ;)
Many people buy car parts from the Rockauto site, the parts are cheap but the shipping costs are often expensive.
And otherwise in France there are garages specializing in American cars and they repair them and maintain them :)

I also thought the white Caddy convertible should have been moved next to the General Lee and your police car. You'd have had the whole Dukes universe there! All you'd have needed is a 70s Ford pickup for Uncle Jesse!🙂

Saw in last week's papers that Enos (Sonny Shroyer) turned 86😬!

Yes it would have been great if the Cadillac this station next to General Lee and my Dodge ! :)
On the road I passed the same Ford pickup from Uncle Jesse but it didn't come to the show, it's a shame it would have been great too ! :)
If Jesse's Ford pickup and Cooter's tow truck would have been there it would have made a great photo too ! :)

Yes I also saw that Enos turned 86 not long ago ! :)

That's the Alfa Romeo Sprint Speciale. I feel it has some styling cues akin to the Mercedes 190 or 300 SL but this is much, much smaller. They're worth a pretty penny restored.

Yes that's it, and this one has been fully restored and is in superb condition :)

I can see Jag XKE, Porsche and Karmann styling influence. I like it. I might could afford a diecast of it if such exists!😁

Yes it is true that we can see a little of these styles in this model ;)
The owner told me that this model had been designed in relation to the "wind tunnel" (machine for testing the aerodynamics of vehicles) and that is why it has this body shape :)

It is true that this Alfa romeo is very beautiful, but I prefer American cars :D

agree Sebastien, just on this occasion, muscle cars predominant and not a fan , however many earlier American could have stole the show, think a 62 or 58 corvette or 53 skylark would have my vote 😆
