capngrog
Mammary gland pink or not, that's a nice looking car! Cheers, Grog
Ozstatman
Except for the cock-eyed headlight. Looks like a sealed beam conversion gone askew.
cahartley
Kind of a freaky color but for that price I think I could get used to it.......
John_S_in_Penna
One older man I know has written about his family's cars in our AACA region's newsletter. The custom in their family was for each daughter to be given a new car when she turned 18 years of age. One of his sisters got a new 1930 Buick roadster specially ordered in pink from the factory-- "a special paint job to match her shocking pink scarf." "Doris drove two school friends in the pink roadster to Washington to see the cherry blossoms. A pink roadster full of three girls in that cherry blossom traffic must have turned many a neck," he wrote. So such cars, while seldom seen, did indeed exist--- Edited September 29, 2018 by John_S_in_Penna (see edit history)
8E45E
One can park it next to a 1970 Mopar (or a brand new Challenger) in Panther Pink at a car show and fit right in!!! Craig
RansomEli
Ouch. Looks like a nice car at a reasonable price. However, if I bought it I would not let it out of the garage until it was repainted. Owned a '27 sedan once. It was a nice driver.
60FlatTop
It is a GM car. Maybe it is an early attempt at Art Duco.
Rusty_OToole
Looks like a Thrill. Thrills gum were this exact shade, I am afraid the photos don't do it justice.
Guest
Ha Ha! It's pretty bold. But I have to say, if I bought it, I would leave it as is (except for the cheesy spare tire cover) and drive it! In a field of otherwise vanilla cars this one would truly stand out. Of course you'd have to be the kind of vintage car owner/driver who really doesn't mind talking to people. Wish it was closer, at that price I'd take a look.
