Allan.Almeida
Finally, work has begun on the 1955 buick convertible. Since importing body trims in to india is very expensive due to custom prices , we are finally fabricating every single outside trim in house itself, got most of the needed parts from www.fusick.com some items i cant get my hands on are the rear trunk handles and the rear trunk roadmaster script...any leads will be very useful. pictures in the next post

MrEarl
Allan, I would suggest you consider posting in a couple different forums about your Roadmaster. This General Forum is for General discussion about all things Buick, in general. The Post War Forum http://forums.aaca.org/forum/57-buick-post-war/ is more for posting technical questions and advice about post war Buicks like yours. The Me and My Buick Forum http://forums.aaca.org/forum/58-me-and-my-buick/ is for posting about you and your Buick, it's history, how you found it, shows you attend, general work that you have done to it etc. The Buick Buy-Sell http://forums.aaca.org/forum/12-buick-buysell/ is for selling and in your case it looks like seeking and asking for needed parts. And if you haven't already introduced yourself.... http://forums.aaca.org/topic/157115-please-introduce-yourself/?page=43 Look forward to following your progress with this beautiful Roadmaster. Only one problem I am seeing with it...it is not a '54.

JamesBulldogMiller55Buick
Very Nice !!! Does your dash knobs have white rings in the inset? I think I see a white ring on the light knob. Mine has white rings on all the knobs Some cars do not have white rings
Restorer32
I wandered around India in 1970. In Bombay there was a neighborhood of several blocks whose occupants specialized in breaking cars down into individual parts. Each stall specialized in one part, door handles, fenders, mirrors, etc.. A car would be rolled into one end of the street and be taken apart as it progressed down the street. Literally hundreds of thousands of parts on display. Though rare, 1930s cars could still be seen on the roads. We were passed by a Sikh family in a 1928 Cadillac Dual Cowl and Ford products were relatively common.

leon bee
I love this thread and will continue to check it. I also wandered around India in the late hippie days and am still fascinated with the place. May I try a couple personal questions? Like, do you have any idea how the car wound up there? And what do you do in India? Disregard if you want, I won't be offended.
