Jose, What is the body style of the 30-U Plymouth that you are working on? I have any and every part that you could need for a 30-U restoration except landau bars for a convertible coupe. I'll attach a couple of 30-U pics for inspiration!

Ok here is a good one for everyone. I found this one in Sweet Idaho, I dont know if it is a late 30U car or a 31PA. so to begin with how do I determine which year it is to begin finding parts and peices if that even matters.

If the radiator shell is with the car, you may be able to tell. The 1930-U had a boxy radiator shell. The 1931-PA had a rounded radiator shell. Here are the 1930 and 1931 photos respectively.....

That is the catcher I got a body, and a frame . no doors, decklid, anything. I am not sure the frame belongs to the car as the farmer had several fords. He didnt know what was what as the doors he had sitting in the car wernt even close. I gave $100.00 for it. since he did figure out it wasnt a 30's ford and he didnt want it in his way.

Good evening.

the serial number is 1557844-January 1931

I would like to know how much are you asking or do you want for the plates that you send on the image.

Probably, the problem will be solve that way.

Thank you, goodbye

Good evening

According whit the document that you showed, the model of the car is the plymouth 30u model 380.

Will the parts that you have fit in it?

Do you have a list of items needed? I can direct you to some stuff, but "which stuff" is the key. A photo or two of the car is always good to see, too. John

I have a complete 30 front and rear axle that has all the brake parts and the wooden spoke wheels and tires. Tires are rotten I'm sure. Big parts I can probably find but many small parts are at the bottom of endless piles which I have no use for but can't bring myself to throw away. This was a genuine Mexican taxi with boat gas tank, truck spring leafs for bumpers, 34 Chevy hood, Model A radiator and shell, Rambler engine, and the list goes on. Before and after pics:

I own a 30U as well.  I'm no expert, but if you have any questions, I may be able to assist.

I have been unable to find an original radiator shell. I was fortunate enough to locate an original radiator, hood and fuel tank in Florida. I just got in from offshore today. I am looking forward to seeing if the fuel pump you sent me arrived yet Tom.

Does anyone know if there are other radiator shells that will fit over the original Plymouth  radiator, like a Ford model A around the same year for instance, or an aftermarket metal or fiberglass reproduction? For now I’m just trying to get it rolling again around the neighborhood.
