  1. Does anyone have experience sewing plastic windows for side curtains. I am doing a 1923 Dodge Screen Side Pickup.
  2. Well I made up a paper template and layed it on some old belt to make up a test sample. I plan on gluing it on the side curtain. I am happy with the results. Thanks for your help.
  3. Your second picture down is what the fastener should look like and I am going to make some out of belt leather. For all my leather needs I get used belts from a goodwill store for a dollar. That is a great picture. Thanks Jan
  4. Getting to the end of a 25 year project and I have an interesting challenge for my 1923 Dodge screen side. There were no side curtains with it when I pulled it from the barn. It has various snaps and fastners which I have but there is one I can not identify. On the bottem of the side curtain and in various other locations it has the following fastiner which I am unfamilar with. It is neither lift a dot or murphy, what is it and where would I get the female part.
  5. David is absolutely correct. If it does not have sentiment attached and you don't want to do it yourself you are better off buying a restored car and enjoying it right away.
  6. Pressure washer can be rented quite cheaply. I use green magic.
  7. Mark great job and great pictures. Now that it is warm I am going to start o mt 1923 Moon touring g and your photo's will be invaluable. How much material did it take. I have made up my patters and I used Ram Board for patterns. Have a great touring season. Jan

  13. Have you tried leaving it in the sun or heat lamps. I have used hair dryers. Don't use a heat gun as then may get too hot.
  14. I am looking for door latches for a 1923 Dodge open car and the windshield hinges. Thanks Jan
  15. Someone cut the end of the lower half of the spare tire mount off, I need the bracket, bracket hardware and a spare tire rim for my 1923. The full picture is not mine but has a clear picture of what I need.

  19. I have been told I have the wrong tailight for a 1923 Screenside, I have the round type B which came with the car. What is correct?
  20. First off there probably is a terminology problem. What you are referring to is a top and the metal pieces are irons with the bows being fitting in the sockets at the end of the irons. You look like your windshield frame is homemade and not designed to be used with a roadster top.. I have a screen side pickup so any pictures I would take would be wrong. You would be better off finding a roadster/touring windshield and the correct bows and irons. Rember that the top is tacked to a tack rail which is on top/behind rear seat which creates another problem because you do not have one. You mentioned that you want the top removal which is call a California top which is a different problem for you
