  1. There have been several Saxons come up recently so I would not give up hope. You have a lot of work before you have to worry about the engine. Have you used the search feature on this forum to find discussions on Saxons.
  2. You should probably post this in the Buick section but what are you trying to achieve with this change.
  3. I protect mine with auto wax. I can always clean the wax off and repolish.
  4. I used a Mitt once and it worked well.
  5. I agree with what has been said but would put it in a different vein, If I had never worked on a house and I walked down the street and someone posted a for sale sign on a house next to a condemned sign would I buy it. No. It would be a bad investment and a money pit. Unless you have done it before trying to flip any thing with no experience is a recipe for disaster. If you are buying it to learn, drive and have fun then go for it as has been said it we cost you a lot more then $1000.
  6. The T on my 23 Dodge was two pieces of pressed metal on my MOON I took a copper plumbing fitting and cut it in half making a fitting.
  7. I noticed that you are putting the top on first. How do you plan on tacking your interior on the rear tack rail
  8. You can't read them why worry about them.
  9. I find with old cars you need the maximum illumination and usually do not run a Dim switch.
  10. I would like a PDF please. modelt1916@yahoo.com Thanks Jan
  11. Passed a van in Montana and it had a large window in the side. Driver had a shade cord that opened the blinds for the window and when he pulled the shade cord for the window there was a couple making out on a bed behind the window.
  12. I checked the fan on my 1923 Moon which has a continential engine and my fan is very different in construction and dimension.
  13. The grill shell looks like a Star or Rugby as does the splash apron. The headlights are drum as was the Star. It has two wheel brakes as did a Star but the body looks different. I have never seen door handles like it has...
  14. Is a tight lug nut part of rotating tires. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/news/does-tire-rotation-include-tightening-lug-nuts-michigan-court-thinks-about-it-for-awhile-concludes-no/ar-AAJcuaB?ocid=spartandhp
  15. It has been around a couple of years. If the bid doesn't go much higher these are steals.
  16. Randy nice looking car. You should contact the Durant club and also post in the Durant section of this section. There are several woodies in the Durant club.
  17. Don't tempt me. If I had room I would.

  19. There are two cars on Everthing but the house that look like excellent candidates for restoration or drive them as they sit. I will post the other one separately. https://www.ebth.com/items/11024527-1949-chrysler-new-yorker-sedan
  20. I have cut offs in all my car and I put fuse blocks in also. Since I rewire all my cars it is easy to install fuse blocks and fuse the important circuits. I used to get them from Radio Shack but the last one I had to but on line. I also put in fuel shut offs for leaking carbs.
