  1. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/cto/5622886449.html Not mine. Thought someone here may be interested. Very rare survivor 1926 Paige 2 DR. sedan. Very good condition. Does NOT need restoring. Original paint and interior and top. All original including WW11 ration stickers and WW11 Lic. plates. I have good title in my name. Original sales brochures. Big 6 cylinder car. $9,500. No texting, call 507 458 6778.
  2. Goofy 3 wheel motorcycle with a cover on it.
  3. FYI, the console is not original. That leads to the question: Is it an original bucket seat car?
  4. If I had the room & extra cash, I'd look at it seriously. If I bought it, I'd wash the dust & dirt off, get it roadworthy & leave it alone. Unfortunately, someone will probably restore it or worse, hot rod it.
  5. Sorry Bernie, According to the experts, your car has too many doors any definitely the wrong color.
  6. Not mine. Thought someone here may want it. Since the '62 Chrysler isn't worth $1200, is this worth the $2500? I would think it could be parted for more than that. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/cto/5563562341.html
  7. I'm curious how you came up with the 25K number from one so-so photo. Or have you seen the car?
  8. Matt, I disagree. It appears you buy cars to flip. This car, judging from only 1 photo looks to be in very nice condition. It's not a battered old sedan. If & it's a big if, all of the body & underside are as nice as what's shown in the photo, & if the interior can be cleaned & saved, then that leaves the usual mechanical maintenance due from sitting: brakes, fuel system, ignition system, cooling system, belts, & hoses. You're into it for $1200 cost + repairs/maintenance as I listed maybe $1800 = $3000 for what may be a good clean entry level car or a nice daily driver. Not everyone can afford a high end classic. This may be just the ticket for a family guy or a kid that wants something besides a rice burner. Maybe the black one you "grabbed up" you paid too much for & didn't realize the profit you figured. I've bought numerous cars like this, did the minor repairs & maintenance, had fun with them for a year or two & then sold them, never at a loss, but not at any great profit. I guess I am not as interested in the bottom line as I am in having fun in this "hobby" doing it my way. If the car was anywhere near the Twin Cities, MN I'd be on it like white on rice.
  9. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure - that stuff, junk, crap, whatever is under the tarp that leaked shouldn't be stored outside in the first place, especially if you have neighbors. Who wants to look at your crap?
  10. Stick with the Mustangs. One of if not the first piece of advice a newbie to collector cars gets is "Decide which make, model, & year(s) you would like to own & then learn everything about them that you can." It appears you know a lot about Mustangs & probably know a lot about repairing & maintaining them. You should also know there are millions of used, NOS, & reproduction parts available for them. Not as much for some other makes & models - the more popular the car, the better chance a replacement part can be found for it. Initial cost would probably be more reasonable for a basic Mustang as well, plus there are so many variations of the Mustang from 6 banger 3 speed stick to Boss 429 four speed, you should have a great selection to choose from. Buy the Buick if you can steal it, but in the long run, I think you're better off sticking with what you know. BTW, I'm a Chevy guy, but that hasn't stopped me from buying a bargain other make/model to flip it. If I'm buying to keep it, it will be Chevy - because I know Chevys.
  11. 1953-54 NOS Optional hood bird. In original box. There are 2 part numbers - the box has 986785 & the bird has 3701859 on the underside. It has very minor shelf wear & age pitting that should buff out. The photos don't show it very well. $325 + S&H
  12. Not mine. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/5483926158.html 1931 Buick 56s VIN: 43322723079 condition: fair cylinders: 8 cylinders drive: rwd fuel: gas odometer: 7000 paint color: yellow size: mid-size title status: clean transmission: manual type: coupe For Sale: 1931 Buick Model 56s Coupe. This vehicle is a project car that was dismantled but never finished. All the parts are with this vehicle including the complete drive train, dash parts, fenders, grill, wheels, etc. The engine was professional rebuilt with new babbet bearings, aluminum pistons, rebuilt valves, etc. It was blue printed and is ready for installation. The wooded wheels were also restored and are ready to go. I have a great deal of paperwork on this vehicle. It also has a free, clear title from the state of Ohio. Many of these restoration vehicles do not have a title and it can be difficult to obtain one, that is not the case here. As stated earlier, all of the parts are with this vehicle, they just need to be installed.
  13. What's next to it? Just curious. Photos of what's next to it?

  15. Nice car! I'm curious as to how you know it's the only one that exists. See "Three known to exist" topic in the for sale forum.
  16. I copied & pasted the CL ad, thus the "good title in my name" is from the ad. Generally, when I or another member find a car that someone on this site may be interested in, I/we start the post by stating "Not mine, but thought someone here may be interested." Perhaps you're not familiar with Craigslist, because I think if you were, you'd realize that everything in my post from the photos down looks like & is a Craigslist ad. Maybe it's just early in the morning yet. :-)

  18. Thank you to all the members that replied to my post & answered some of my questions. I did not buy the car. Had I known some of the info you guys posted, I probably would have bought it. Not your fault - mine for not following my gut instinct. I have called the seller & asked that he call me back to let me know if it is sold or not. If he calls, I'll let you know any additional info I get. Hudsy, nice to know there's a member nearby. I'll call you soon. George
  19. Did these have much wood in them, like the Chevys? If engine can't be freed up & running without a total rebuild, how big a deal is it, & would it be expensive - over or under $1000 assuming all major parts (block, heads, etc.) are saveable? Is there anything on the car that should definitely be there because said item is rare as a chicken with lips?
  20. Not mine, but I thought someone here may want it. Price seems reasonable. Just hope the hot rodders & the car parters don't get their hands on it. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/cto/5491399857.html
