  1. Just lowered the price to $1800 1967 Impala SS. California car built in LA. I bought it from the original owner who now lives in Minnesota. It was a 327 4 speed with AC & cruise. 12 bolt posi 3:31 ratio. Code DH0330G2. It now has an Olds diesel in it. He said when the oil embargo hit in the 70's, he converted it to diesel. He was driving from LA to Vegas a lot & he wanted better mileage & diesel was dirt cheap back then. Floors, braces & frame are in excellent condition. Trunk is good with a couple of small holes in it. Front fenders need the doglegs patched. Rear quarters at the bottom & around the wheel opening have some rust & would need patching. Doors, rockers, trunk lid, & hood are very good - don't see any rust at all. Has it's jack & spare tire. Engine runs well. Original 4 speed is locked in 1st gear & I haven't tried messing with it. Interior looks all intact. Console will need repair. Trunk lid spring is MIA. $1800
  2. It looks Fordish. Possibly '63 or '64 Galaxie.
  3. "We are taking Best Offers Up until July" 2 bucks, now what's your counter offer? You're on the wrong site, the auction site is called Ebay.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
  4. 1960 Impala steering wheel. What you have is not 59-60 Impala
  5. Sir I believe your Impala steering wheel is actually Belair or Biscayne. The Impala horn assembly is different than what's on yours.
  6. I sent an email about the Hemi Satellite & got no reply. Must not be in any big hurry to sell.
  7. 1925 ROLLS ROYCE ROADSTER Not mine. Maybe someone here has a spare $185K laying around.
  8. You don't need to look at only the dealers' cars to see overpriced vehicles. There seems to be enough of them that show up right here. I think that is because, as you state, that "the rest of the population prices there cars along the dealer prices because that's the first thing they see when they go to the web for comparisons" or there are people selling cars on this site that THINK they are dealers. Check out some of the vehicles that have responses of BTT.
  9. Parts that have been in dry storage for 40-50 years. 1922 Chevrolet NOS fenders-complete set, 1929 Chevrolet doors, 1930-31 Chevrolet fender, 1940 Chevrolet PU door, 1929 Chevrolet fenders-complete set, 1940 Chevrolet PU and parts truck, 1929 frame with motor , NOS 1950's Oldsmobile bumper, hubcaps, tons of moldings and much, much more.
  10. The kid also stated he wasn't sure about the year of this car as well as the others. Give him a break. Once he posts photos, maybe the experts will help ID them so everyone knows exactly what they are.
  11. Is the market soft? I'll be the first to admit that I don't know a whole lot about '37 Cadillacs & their value. I do know that when a car is offered at several venues & the reult is no sale, then it usually indicates it is overpriced. If it was a really good deal, wouldn't somebody have snatched it up already?
  12. I have PM'd her & we have traded a few emails. She said it would be a couple weeks to assemble a list with price, description, condition, & photos. There was a '59 Buick for sale a while ago on here. Same car as my uncle's. It was an estate & the poster had to get things in the estate organized. Even posted pix. I wanted to buy it as seen in the pix. Haven't heard back in 2 or 3 months. On the other hand, I posted quite a ways back about someone I ran into that was selling some of his cars (early Fords). In talking with him, he stated that he had others he'd sell if the price was right. One was a Duesenberg. I posted asking if it was ok to get a finder's fee if I could connect a prospective buyer to the seller. From the answers I got, I can see where a newbie would get the impression that there are a bunch of wiseass, sarcastic a--holes on this sight. If you don't believe me, go back & read the posts about the Buick that Lebowski posted 3 or so months ago. I realize that a site like this has some genuine experts & authorities on certain cars, but they may not be & probably aren't experts on EVERY car. To you REAL experts, I apologize if you take offense at my post. To the others who have a little knowledge & THINK they are experts, lighten up. You may be scaring away someone who just may have a little interest in preserving & enjoying these cars.
  13. Lebowski When someone says best offer, you're supposed to say "2 bucks, now what's your counter offer?"
  14. So, how are you going to get the hundred dollar bills back to the people who's offer you reject? Or are you just collecting hundred dollar bills? Why would you lose a reasonable offer on a vehicle written on plain paper unless you're not really serious about selling, want way too much for it, or are just careless in your dealings with buying & selling cars?
  15. If you have photos, why can't you post a couple here?
  16. Whatever it is, it's a nice car. I commend Mr. Lebowski for an excellent description & wonderful photos. His is a good example of how a car should be posted here.
  17. Is the black car for sale also? In photo 5, there appears to be some kind of fabricated pontoon or airplane body hanging from the ceiling. What is it? For sale?
  18. Looking for someone going from near the Twin Cities, MN down to Kansas City,MO. Sold an engine to a guy. He's willing to pay you to haul it. If you're making the trip anyway, you could get paid for part of it.
  19. My uncle had the same car new only it was a dark turquoise color.
