They certainly look better with the top down than top up. No offense to anyone who owns one, but they are rather butt ugly with the top up.

Is there a decent general rule of thumb for deducting a certain percentage for an in-op vehicle? Example: Let's say according to OCPG, this Ford is a number 3 car, but as stated, it is in-op. Could one deduct X% for the in-op?

This car has been posted on CL in the Twin Cities, MN for about the last 18 months - $100 for each month posted. You'd think since it's still for sale, the seller would take the hint & lower the price if he/she is serious about selling it.

This is what I questioned in a previous post about buying a title for a vehicle that it was not issued to being an illegal activity. People say they collect them for fun & then when someone asks about buying a title, it would appear the title "collectors" are quick to reply. There is a proper, legal way to obtain a title i most if not all states, but it's not by buying one issued to a different vehicle.

You're welcome. You can understand the 2 photos don't give one much to go on. I think there is also a certain amount of frustration from me & other members because some ads post no photos & others post crappy ones or direct you to another site to view them.

For $10500, maybe your "friend" could give you more & better photos to post.

Isn't buying & selling titles to cars that no longer exist so they can be used for cars that don't have titles illegal?

Why advertise on a national site if you only want to sell locally?

FYI No matter which CL national search engine you use, IT DOES NOT show every car or part on CL of the type/model you searched for. I've looked nationally numerous times & then looked locally in various areas only to find cars that didn't show up on the national searches.

I could go inspect them & take photos if someone wanted me to, but I would need something for my time. 1925 and 1927 Gardner Collectors only! If you don't know what a Gardner is, Don't email me.
