  1. Won't matter if it's a real Shelby if there's no proof of ownership, as in a real title, not one someone is peddling on here.
  2. What is this hood ornament from? Or is it an aftermarket?
  3. Have a friend with a 1930 Essex. He needs a carb for it. He thinks it had a Marvel Model V originally. Are there other carbs that will work? I see Marvel tractor carbs on Ebay, but don't know it one of those would be the same as the one for his '30 Essex. Any help?
  4. Trying to help a friend. He has a 1930 Essex with the Hudson engine in it. He lost the carb for it. Thinks it was a Marvel model V. Does anyone have one to sell?
  5. Do whatever you want with it. Can some name them from front to back of the line?
  6. Curti, Is it this one? Ad says it's a Glenn Pray. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/d/auburn-boattail-speedster/6288588289.html
  7. Would this be the same concern on a Graham Hollywood? I know of one sitting in a barn. Missing the blower, but there is another Graham with the blower that goes with the Hollywood.
  8. Or this one? https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/d/1935-auburn-boatail-speedster/6288340093.html I know they're fakes, but still way cool looking, & affordable.
  9. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/d/auburn-boattail-speedster/6288588289.html How about this one?
  10. Did Cadillac make a 2 door in 1941 that was not a coupe? In the coupes, did they make a regular coupe that looked similar to a '41 Chevy coupe & an aero coupe(fastback)? Can I assume any 1941 Cadillac is worth pursuing at the right price, but a coupe is the most desirable next to the convertible? Thank in advance for any replies & info.
  11. Can anyone tell me the make, year, & model? Is it worth pursuing?
  12. I like the PU. Looks like he should be selling ice cream from it. How many accidents or close calls have you had rubbernecking all those oldies? Keep 'em comin'.
  13. My brother owned a '59 Eldorado with air suspension back in the 60's. We bought a '58 Impala from a scrap dealer about 7-8 years ago that had the system in it.
  14. This seems dirt cheap, but I don't know anything about REO's. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/cto/d/1925-reo/6258586142.html 1925 REO all original at this time. Ran a few years ago. I have clear titles. I have two 1925's $3500 and $4500 or $7000 for both. I don't need help selling these cars, 7 one 5- 2 nine 6-2 zero 78
  15. Not mine. Curious about it though. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/d/rare-1951-bentley/6258746797.html 1951 Bentley Abbott body drop head coupe Car is in rough shape in need of complete restoration Extra chassis running gear with extra parts
  16. Not mine. Maybe someone here wants it. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/cto/d/1940-packard-110-club-coupe/6259151554.html 1940 Packard club coupe. Original engine is free spinning. I'm sure it will run. Car came up from southern USA in 1962. Was stored in side until last year when storage was lost. Solid floors and trunk, seat frame is there, dash is complete. All window frames are there. Rear fenders were brazed on in the early 1980 and trunk was shaved. Car has never been wrecked but right fender has a good dent that was poorly repaired at the same time as the rear fenders. Running boards are very nice other then the rubber flaking off. Still straight not whamoed . Body is in very nice shape. Right grill is missing a piece but I believe I have access to a replacement. Original colour was Forrest green. Doors and hood opened and shut solid. Chassis is in great shape. I'm sure the engine will run if your into trusting 77 year old original Engines. Would make a killer hotrod. Would also make a good start to a restoration. Anyone contacting me with the words "rat rod" should be bitch slapped. Too nice for that garbage. Fat Man fabrication makes a front MM2 stub for this car should a hot rod be needed. Car is in Winnipeg Mb Canada. Registered here. Built in USA so is nafta compliant. Asking $8500 usd OBO. I would be willing to trailer it into North Dakota and would work with a buyer to take care of paper work. I have sold cars into the USA in the past and know all the documents needed to facilitate a easy entry in to the us. Cell is 204-229-5513.

  21. I should have specified AMERICAN manufactured cars, not CANADIAN manufactured cars. After all, we are in AMERICA and any discussion of cars in this country usually is referring to cars manufactured for sale in this country unless otherwise specified. Canadian cars are a whole separate entity & I don't believe they should be used as the exception to prove the rule is false. ie: Their Pontiacs had Chevy engines in the '60's. They have a "Chevelle" called a Beaumont. Different cars, different countries, different manufacture. Never stated I was an "expert". Did state IMHO, but maybe only certain "expert" advice should be heeded. Lighten up.
  22. There are two items in some replies to your inquiry I want to address. First, having messed with big block Chevys, I don't believe a T350 or a Powerglide can hold up to the gobs of torque a big block puts out unless the trans is specifically set up & beefed up for racing. My last big block car I used a T400 in it. They're pretty much bullet proof. Second, some replies IMHO are giving you bad advice about whether or not the car is an SS. If it's VIN starts with 138 it is an SS396. If it starts with 136, IT IS NOT. There is no such animal as a 1968 Chevelle SS396 with a VIN starting with 136. How do I know this? From the material & literature I read, put together by some of the best Chevy minds in the country. Standard Catalog of American Cars page 162 Chevrolet by the Numbers pages 25 & 26 Chevrolet SS Muscle Car Red Book page 88 I rest my case.
  23. There's more vehicles than what's in the ad. I see a pair of Chevy/GMC pickups. May be more stuff. I would venture to say that Nick & Breeda are heirs or reps of heirs & the heirs want the money, not the cars. "Attendance will be limited to the first 15 qualified respondents" --- How do you qualify? "Once the 20 participants have been secured and confirmed" --- Is it 15 or 20?
