  1. I believe this is a Continental 6V engine, used in the Saxon and the Moon. More info. is needed, including the bore, and hopefully, the approximate wheelbase. If you look at the right side of the engine, there appears to be a carburetor attached to the block. The space between the number 3 and 4 cylinders is larger, which would permit an intake passage over to the lengthwise internal intake manifold.
  2. I believe it is a Continental engine, but haven't researched the car make. Here is a list of cars that used Continental engines: https://www.hemmings.com/blog/2008/12/10/companies-that-used-continental-engines-the-complete-list/
  3. 1930 or 1931 Buick. the 1930 has an adjusting screw in the center of the back. The 1931 no screw.
  4. The last cap posted, with what appears to be a "3", is an after-market cap for 1930 and 31 Buick with wood wheels.

  6. Need complete rear end, including housing, differential, axles, brakes, driveshaft transported from Columbus, Ohio to Oregon. Weighs about 200 pounds. Send me a PM.
  7. Correct reproduction gas cap, sun visor and bracketry (for passenger side).
  8. Here is an ebay listing with an ad showing a Lycoming CE engine with a Gardner manifold: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1925-Other-Makes-Gardner-Tour-de-Luxe-5-Passenger-Open-Touring-Car-/172172541269?nma=true&si=Mgefoo%252FH18k%252BeHDdg8UV1xldq0U%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  9. 1923-25 Gardner. (Lycoming type CE engine.)
  10. These are for a cabriolet, not a roadster. They are installed horizontally above the window. They are attached to the windshield with a wing screw. Can't verify what car they are for though.
  11. It is probably a steamer, possibly a conversion. Tubes are probably a condenser. Hood and cowl look cobbled together.
  12. My 1931 model 91 measures 59 1/4". My guess is that all Buick Fisher bodies may be the same.
  13. Original 1932 Chevy extension trunk (Potter) and trunk rack, including mounting brackets, hinge, hold opens, and latches. Latches are brass castings needing finishing and plating. Very straight, but has some rust through in bottom and slide-out (repairable). Good stainless strips on trunk rack. $1200. Can deliver to Hershey.
  14. Can anyone identify this set of large touring car top irons/bows? I need to get them to someone who can use them.
  15. The holes are for inserting a rod or screwdriver to tighten the packing on a water pump.
  16. I'm assuming you are talking about the "torque ball retainer, outer", which attaches to the torque tube? (Similar to your picture, about 6"? long, but tapered, with a flange on the end?) If so, the part number is: Group 5.560, 1323289. 1937 through 1947 large series are identical. Let me know if this is not the part you mean.
  17. Kevin, I have a complete rear end. Includes differential, axle housing axles, backing plates, brake drums, torque tube, and drive shaft. Used, from a low mileage car. Ready to install. $500. I'm in Ohio. Send me a PM if interested.
  18. Matt, I'm located in Columbus, Ohio. I will send you a P.M. Thanks!
