  1. It may have been that ''they told him. Or he heard it from 'them' 'They' and 'them' are to blame for just about everything. This is a joke by the way, 'They' made me do it.
  2. 32, Somewhere here I have a reprinted engine manual for the Lycoming V 12 Junior. Make me an offer I cant refuse. I doubt I will ever have one of these again. capyjack@comcast.net I had to change a head gasket on mine several years ago. Not that big of a deal, but expensive for only one gasket. I was able to save the rest of the gaskets. That V 12 shop mentioned above would probably be a good source for parts. Mine was a 47.
  3. Not an American hero by any means. A legend? Maybe.
  4. I want a set like these, 2 of each. The part numbers are visible. 2520902 and 2520903 I have seen these same part numbers on some motors that plug in differently but I would like them to plug in like this. I am pretty sure this style are typical to the mid 60s Mopars. If I am remembering correctly the same P/N runs thru the 70s but with different wiring. We want to try and build a set of four functional window motors and it just might take another set to get all four working. 1965 Chrysler 300

  6. After watching 'Mad Max Fury Road' I have all these weird ideas for a 1950 Dodge COE that I am waiting on. Just start welding stuff together.
  7. Who can rebuild these? Mid 60s Mopar.
  8. As you know, I never saw my 46 NY coupe in its stock configuration, so it was a guess on the bolt circle. My 56 has a much larger bolt circle than its other Mopar counterparts. This forum has seen me shopping for one of these several years ago and has also seen what I ended up buying. I have even shown progress on occasion. However this forum requires a bit of self control because of the attitudes of some of the purists so I have not shown it much. But since you are now curious, I now have it driving but has a few problems that need addressed to be road ready and dependable. And yes it has a Hemi. Unfortunately I broke my foot a week or so ago and everything in my life is on hold until I can walk again. The OP, Jeff and I have become friends over the years and I have watched his progress with his engines and progress on his other car that first brought him here. He has been to my home and I to his and we often email each other about our projects. I am sorry to see him go another direction here, but we all have a similar disease and he has found another item that is not such a daunting project and I wish him all the best with his endeavors. Good luck with your sale Jeff and stay in touch.
  9. Hmm, I would think those wheels would fit. Is the NY a wider bolt circle?
  10. It will be a week or two before I can get pics. But I will get back when I do.
  11. I would drop in to a glass shop and ask this. I don't think silicon is a very good choice. It doesn't hold up to the elements very well. There are special sealants designed for this.
  12. Got any good window motors? My car would be a 65 but several years were the same. There are rights and lefts, and R and L brackets as well.
  13. Cool, I have used ARP in some common racing applications. I am glad to hear that they will try to accommodate. I will cross my fingers for you as well.
  14. I had a 62 Nova SS convertible once. 6 cyl, power glide with a console and floor shift. I swapped it for an Amphicar. I kinda wish I had kept that one.
  15. I remember those. We used to put them in just about everything.
  16. Good idea. If it does it with both headlights unhooked you for sure have a short to ground after the switch. I doubt it would be difficult to replace the breaker if it weak. How ever if there is an open circuit what would be tripping the breaker. Do the lights come on during the brief time before the breaker opens? Are they dim? (signs of a short)

Big eared dog should be able to hear anything.
  18. You are showing two different types. The set with the curved mount it resembles a column mounted tach bracket. (cheap aftermarket) I don't know why a guy would have two of em. The other set look like it wants to be mounted on a curved something in the other direction. I am only throwing out guesses. Probably incorrect ones but just guesses.
  19. Your amp gauge will read backwards. Couldn't say about the other gauges, but its possible that the gas gauge would not be accurate.
  20. I will suggest that if your breaker is breaking it may be doing its job. I know it sounds difficult but I would look for a short after the switch.
  21. This is a buddy of mine. He only does HD but has 20 or 30 of em. And all the parts you would ever need for the Knucks and Pans. https://www.facebook.com/JeffsAmericanClassics/
  22. Every time I go into the local Fastenal store I duel all over that VERY EXPENSIVE drill kit. Couldn't ever justify the set, but have bought a couple of individual bits. There is a HUGE difference it the quality of drill bits. I know that someday I will be feeling fat enough to throw away all of my drills ands step up to one good set..
