Soldering iron for radiators?
-
I am 5' 8" tall and 195#s and never had a problem with Model T comfort. Just remember to wear 'thin' shoes. Boots will not handle the pedals well. John

The problem as I see it is all about financial gains. If the show were smaller, the rent would also be smaller. Instead of selling more spaces to pay for the rent, I would rather see a more condensed show. Letting in non AACA cars in looks to me like 'we need to pay for all these spaces. I could be wrong, but that is how I see it. John

Chassis, fenders, splash aprons and lights are Model T. The radiator might be aftermarket, the rest is home made.

Without a picture it is hard to tell, but Chevy 490 trannys were used often on Model T's to give it extra gears. Possibly the same.

Dave Brennen can make axles for you. He is on this site often and goes by 'Dandy DAve' -
I had a '63 Ford pickup that had a Chevy box (different color) with aluminum siding covering the rust holes. A real beater. Parked it in the sun until the metal got real hot and painted it with a 4 inch brush. The paint flowed real nice, no runs, no drips, no errors. Didn't even sand it.

A Model T will outrun a Dodge Brothers all day long. However a DB will last longer than a Ford.
