  1. I have sold several and purchased cars on the internet. What I have done in the past is to have the purchaser copy and fax the photo copy to me or my bank. You or your bank can contact their bank and verify the check. If you really dont want to accept the check they can always wire the money to you or your bank. Be careful with a cashier check, most of them are good but you must verify. In anycase you need to have the actual check in hand before you ship. I dont know if it sounds fishy but use caution
  2. if you are refering to the bellcranks, contact Mr Barney Eaton at barney@texas.net, he makes a good one that works well

  6. sorry that this is so late but if you will unhook the battery you should be able to recharge the system. If you are still R12 then if you dont want to retro then find some freeze 12 on the internet and if your compressor is good you should be good to go. The system the way it works, it sets a code and I dont have the book in front of me and you must reset the code by unhooking the battery before you can do anything and then rehook the battery after a few min. Your compressor will kick in and run if it is a good compressor Hope this helps

  16. Just a report the Nationals are in full swing and Seattle is a great place for this show. The host committee has done a wonderful job of keeping everybody busy. It appears that everybody is having a great time. The LeMay car Museum was completely over whelmed with all of us Buick folks. A trip last evening to the XXX Root Beer was great fun. Now it off to the showfield and the Reatta lunch Booreatta
  17. When I show my convertible I have the window sticker and an information sheet on the car. If it is an indoor show I have a small mirrored turntable and my Pewter model on the dash. I get lots of comments on that.
  18. Yes Kathy and I are flying in on Wednesday and are staying at one of the hotels at the show. Hopefully we can go on the late nite trip on the big pond. Hey Barney if you are going to the brewery let me know, we are renting a car to get around and a trip to the south sounds like a hoot. We also will try most of good places to eat. I hope everyone plans to get togather at the picnic. See ya all there. And Reatta1 let me know if you need help getting your car ready BOOREATTA

  21. What a 2 week period this has been. My daughter just had a baby 2.1 lbs after having a car accident A young lady pulled out in front of her and my daughter hit her. With in several hours the labor started and the baby came quickly. Man is he small but doing very well. I dont know if the seatbelt started the labor or not. But is has been a long week. The car was totaled I am glad it was the ford van and not the Reatta. This post is just a reminder for everyone to drive safely on fathers day. Life changes in the blink of an eye. Be safe

    cowl shake

My 90 convertible does not have any shake that I have noticed, it is very smooth, my coupe seems to have a little cowl shake but the 2 cars seem to perform in a very simular way. The hard plastic dash part next to the windshield has cracked on the coupe but the convertible seems solid. I do have one question, what is a cocktail shaker? Can anyone post a photo, this is not the first time this has come up and I would like to know just what it is....
