  1. THANKS GUYS SO THATS WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ORDER I HAD FOR A 1991 CONVERTIBLE IN POLO GREEN....I NEVER GOT IT CHUCK
  2. Its hard to add anything to this post that has not already been said. I thought he looked good in Springfield and when I saw him I stuck out my hand but he said there will be no more of that and he gave me a big hug. Few men can walk as tall as he did. The last words I had with him was after the awards dinner after he made everybody face the flag and say the pledge. When Kathy and I were leaving the dinner, I told him I would see him in Allentown and he replied that he would be there. I know he will. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Rest in peace Paul you are missed Chuck Kerls
  3. The girls told me that they had the time of their lives and that the Buick Guys were the most friendly that they had met in a long time......I didn't know what to say about that. Everybody had a good time and Bill Stoneberg drove the golf cart part of the time and had a smile all the time...........That's my story and im stickin to it Lamar you should have been there........

  12. I have always wanted to make it to LA for the Reatta Rally. I think you had more cars in attendance than we have in the whole state of Kansas. Its great to live in the middle of the US, its just as far to each coast. Would like to see some of the West Coast folks travel to the middle of the US for the National Meet in Springfield. Might not get another chance Ervin good job as usual Chuck
  13. Some things I don't forget. Paul and Mary Ann came over to my house that was my parents house in St.Louis while I was trying to get thru a bunch of stuff for an estate sale and to say the least the house was full to the top with just stuff. I had told Paul there was a lot of dolls and that most people came in and said WOW what are you going to do with all this stuff. Paul said he wouldn't say that. Well when they came in the first thing that Paul said is "what are you going to do with all this stuff" and then laughed. Paul is a good guy and I wish him and his family the best in his fight. Sounds like there are some blue skys ahead. God Bless Paul Chuck Kerls
  14. I have used several repair companies several times and United Radio is by far the best I will not use any one else In the future.
  15. All of the tours are listed in Mr Earls first post on this thread.
  16. Marck told me last summer he had made an offer for this car and he said it was rough. I know they have tried to sell this car for a long time. Be careful
  17. It is truly a rare time that I want to endorse a person for the BOD for the Buick Club of America. I see from the field of men running for the board it is a top notch bunch. I have not worked with any of them except one and that is Brian Clark. As I hope everyone knows I am working on the meet this summer in Springfield Mo. I was thinking about a person that would be willing to help to make this a good meet and I asked Brian to help. It was with out hesitation that he said heck yah. He has been a big help. It is my opinion that when a person offers to help and then does what he said he would do deserves to be rewarded with a job well done. I am sure that some others that are running for the board would do an equally good job, I just have not worked with them. It is because of Brian's work ethic that I recommend him for re-election to the Board of Directors, our club needs him. Chuck Kerls booreatta@cox.net 316-655-1099
  18. Not to change the subject but Joe Bortz will be bringing the Wildcat I to the BCA national meet in Springfield Mo in June. Its always good to see these special cars come out from time to time Chuck
  19. UPDATE The Archival cars WILL be parked on the showfield with the other classes. No class will be forced to a separated parking spot because of the "class they are entered in". Judging might be a bit tougher but that can be worked out also and a plan is in place. This plan has my total support as well as John Steed's (our head judge). The goal is to present Buick from early to post war, and there wont be any profiling, all Buicks are equal. Hopefully this will help make Springfield a great meet. There could be some variance to this if needed, ie the Modified class if they want to. Will have to see how that shakes out. I know the Reatta division always wants to be separate but that wont be an issue due to all of the car being one of 4 years and they will still be with in what we are trying to do. Chuck Kerls
  20. Ok guys put your rocks away. I will answer this question for everyone.......The Archival cars WILL be parked on the showfield with the other classes. 21. Lots of comments on this new car. that's a good thing. I agree it does look kinda like the Chrysler but it is a good looking auto and it has lots of new stuff in it. I also agree the color is not good for a new car. A convertible should show flash and grey wont make that happen. It is now as before the color should be resale RED but then GM should know that. I like the looks of the Reatta, I have owned several and my fave is red/tan. Whats old will be new again. I wont buy a grey car no matter who makes, my wife like all wifes will not hesitate to say what they think, and she said that grey cars in convertibles look like caskets and something to be used for funerals. I don't know what else to say????????
  22. I don't know how the AACA feels about some issues, I have been a member for a few years and I love the magazine they print every other month. I am glad to see someone else in the AACA that has a Reatta. In all of the magazines over the past years I have never seen a Reatta. Lets hope the Reatta is finally ready to make a showing in a great club. I have never been to a AACA meet as there are just not any meets in Kansas. I think its time for all Reatta owners to join the AACA and make a showing. Good luck on your first Junior and Senior and keep everybody posted Think Spring
