1. Steve, (Clear from the start: These are "my personal" comments, "not the AACA's") To date, the AACA Forum will not be the venue for airing out complaints between Vendors & Customers. The reason is quite simple: Our club could stand to be included in any legal action instituted by one party, or, the other. Legal action could be with a "valued" club sponsor that provides financial backing to this forum, or, a "miriad of vendors...(Hershey alone has about 9-10,000 vendors)". Sitting here, I am thinking of a scenario: Suppose 500 people have a complaint about any one of 9-10,000 Hershey vendors. All of the complaints were aired-out on the AACA Forum. Law suits are filed. The way things are today, the AACA would be dragged into the proceedings as they provided the media for nasty posts. Again, the aforementioned is my "personal opinion". This AACA Forum is provided as a service to hobbyists, not a vehicle, or, media for complaints/compliments. My thoughts are that you could create a Website specifically dedicated to "Old Car Hobbyist" vendor satisfaction and rate them. At this point, I would give the AACA Management a chance to respond. Regards, PJH

4. You are quite welcome, RocketDude. Between the "AACA Library & Reasearch Center" and the "Search function on this AACA website" there is an enormous amount of information to assist. Hopefully, more folks will take advantage of these services to the hobbyist. Regards, PJH...

7. Thanks for posting, Steve. To those who watch the "Wheels on the Road" TV show on channel BCTV in the Reading, PA area, please, take note. Ralph is absolutely one great, down-to-earth "old car nut", of whom, never, never declined sharing his restoration knowledge with anyone that I know. He is deeply involved with the AACA Pottstown Region, the Boyertown Museum of Historical Vehicles, not to mention, a volunteer judge with the Concours 'd Elegance of the Eastern United States Burn Prevention Foundation. Many tout that we are a "family" when referring to the "old car hobby". Well, Ralph gave much to many. Now is the time to give back... My 2-cents... Peter J. Heizmann
8. Pat...Welcome to the AACA Forum. I would highly recommend the AACA Library & Research Center. The Library retains an enormous amount of original specs for the Plymouth. On the main page, click on "Library" in the right column. Regards, PJH...

Folks... I take full responsibility for any and all inconvenience to the Packard Forum partipants. Should Eric's posts have remained -- On hindsight, yes. For this, I apologize. 11. Rick, Turbopackman specifically requested that his "account" be cancelled completely. This deletes any posts he made, or, replies made to his posts.
12. Hi, Rick. Turbopackman requested of me, and, in his terminology, that, his "account be cancelled", meaning, "Deleted (Banned) from the AACA Forum, to include "all posts". Turbopackman did not mention any specific reason, only, that this action be taken. FYI: When you notice "blanks" within the "Last Post column" and only a date, it will appear as soon as someone makes a post within any given thread. Peter J...

15. This thread is a borderline candidate for the Misc. Chat Forum. Please stay on topic or it goes. Reason I am posting this warning: Just deleted a post that questions this topic vs. the current war situation. Thank you, Peter J...
16. Hello, Todd. Could you post a listing of the magazines and date of issue? Regards, Peter J...

18. Dave and folks, I am sending Kanter an e-mail to address the issues presented within this thread. Asking that no one post any more negative comments for 1-2 days to see if Kanter responds. Appreciate your cooperation, Peter J...

20. Hi, Bob... Does not rin a bell with me. I "never" open anything questionable. My advice is to delete it, and/or, report it as spam to your carrier. Peter J...
21. Mark, you may want to contact an AACA Region in the Pocono area. Within the header on this page, click on "Community", then, "Local Clubs". Scroll down to "PA" and you will see: Pocono Region, East Stroudsburg, PA Northeastern Pennsylvania Region, Wilkes-Barre, PA. Regards, Peter J...
22. Overdrive...I had the same problem with the national number. Call the hotel direct and there is no problem: 215-448-2000 Mention "AACA Group rate". Wayne's info for name, address is correct. Peter J...
23. Welcome to the Forum, Russ. Please post the photo at your convenience. Regards, Peter J...
24. AACA Forum Policy is not to be the media for bashing any one vendor. Sent e-mails describing the dialogue of 2 posts to certain vendors to come onto the forum to receive their input. Any posts after this that publicly bash a vendor will be deleted until we, hopefully, hear from them. Peter J...
25. tigermoth... Please listen to what Ted Sweet mentioned: "Agreed Value". Some years ago, I read an article about a gent, of whom, had a "stable" of convertible cars that were totally destroyed in a fire. All vehicles retained "Stated Value". The gent received pennies on the dollar for vehicles that were in outstanding condition. The gent's message within the article was simple: "Agreed Value" to learn from his lesson. Peter J...
