There are very different levels of restoration. Unless it has huge sentimental value, I’d say this is a candidate for authentic but not concours-level. It will cost more to restore than you can sell it for afterwards, if that’s what you’re trying to assess

The number on the speedometer has zero engineering influence. I would think that a Custom Eight 2 door Club Sedan with the 356 and overdrive would be the fastest variant for the 22nd series -

Packard used a similar system and the levers under the dash pulled the hood closed tight. Are you missing the pads in the lip of the fender? Buick person will correct me if the systems differ
