  1. Hi, does anyone have the metal pipe, which supplies vacuum to the trans modulator on a 65 Riviera ST400 with SP?
  2. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1384911822335316/?hoisted=false&ref=product_details&referral_code=marketplace_general&referral_story_type=general&tracking={"qid"%3A"-4902908300082613150"%2C"mf_story_key"%3A"991798087680631436"%2C"commerce_rank_obj"%3A"{\"target_id\"%3A991798087680631436%2C\"target_type\"%3A6%2C\"primary_position\"%3A20%2C\"ranking_signature\"%3A8167877896807907328%2C\"commerce_channel\"%3A501%2C\"value\"%3A0.00039137008792544%2C\"upsell_type\"%3A3523%2C\"candidate_retrieval_source_map\"%3A{\"9678436412181814\"%3A3021%2C\"5833727760014770\"%3A315%2C\"5583349221793732\"%3A315%2C\"5199315730168409\"%3A315%2C\"6079546772077009\"%3A315%2C\"6078324662212430\"%3A3021}%2C\"grouping_info\"%3Anull}"%2C"lightning_feed_qid"%3A"-4902914072559642386"%2C"lightning_feed_ranking_signature"%3A"6368615903516426240"%2C"ftmd_400706"%3A"111112l"}
  3. Here is a link from BAT, back in early 2017. I'm pretty sure it's the same vehicle. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the wrong glove compartment badge for the GS. Didn't 66 have the one year only badge that says GS. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1966-buick-riviera-2/
  4. Ed, that's what made this plate so awesome. You simply cut the 2004R bellhousing off and install the plate. Then install his Wildcat bellhousing and presto. You have a nice clean installation.
  5. I would check all positive and negative cables and wires from the alternator and block too the battery and power distribution box. Sounds like you have a loose connection.
  6. Sorry, more specificaly is that he had a adapter plate, to install on to the 2004R trans. This would enable the use of the 4li60 adapter bellhousing. With a specific torque converter from Hughes performance, made for a nice clean installation.
  7. Ed, what type adapter are you using for the 2004R. I was going to use Russ' adapter plate with the 4l60 bellhousing. Unfortunately he decided to not continue with it January of 2021. This was after I waited 10.5 months go get one.
  8. It says in the ad, that it was repainted 5 years ago in Sunrise Gold.
  9. I think RRA may be a special order paint, as depicted on the Wildcat. Is your car cream colored?
  10. That show was 9 years ago. Did anything come of it?
  11. At least by shipping to Canada by USPS, you don't have the broker fee.
  12. If radiator is hot, fan clutch shoujld be solid. Is this a thermostatic fan clutch? Is it clogged with gunk? Remember, with the downflow radiator the coolant level should be no more than 1/4" above the fins!
  13. Now that is funny! Do they have one for single people?
  14. Brandon, the trans vacuum was tee'd off of the rear port. One part went to the brake booster, the other went to the transmission.
  15. Let me say that this carb is what came on my 1965 Riviera. It worked perfectly. The only thing I had to do what free up the shut-off piston for the heat style choke. The carb it self had no running issues what so ever.
  16. Brandon: If you want, I have a Carter 4180s carb. It's a 66 model carb. I could send it to you for the cost of shipping. If it works, you can just send me some cash for what you think its woth. Thoughts?
  17. More than likely, your rear flex hose is swollen on the inside. Thereby blocking fluid to the drums. Remember, drum brakes need volume before they create pressure
  18. The only option you have is to use the adapter system by speed gems.
  19. RivNut, on my 65, where on the frame would the vin be located?
  20. What oil are you using. Filters are usually spun on until it stops, then go 3/4 to 1 full turn more
  21. I may have you recondition the rest of them, but I don't have the 2 lower pieces. Didn't come with the vehicle!
