  1. Probably the Kansas State Wildcats.
  2. There is a thread right at the top of the Riviera forum, just for this purpose. This is exactly what my Riviera should look like. Including the aftermarket vinyl top.
  3. Buick Riviera chrome wheels, on Facebook Marketplace: Buick chrome wheels
  4. Could be a worn or loose connection. Possibly one of the diode's in the rectifier is failing. Didi you have the problem before the new regulator was installed ?
  5. Do you kow what the build month/week was? If it's like the Rivieras, the 2X4's intake system was only available during the first half of the model year as a dealer ordered kit. That's why his engine code is MW. If the car was ordered after the 2nd week of March 66, with the 2X4 intake option, the engine code would be MZ
  6. Autozone has a filter/pan gasket kit "TF601" They also have a group of front/shifter/rear seals available.
  7. Update: I received the bellhousing and converter cover on Tuesday. I'm now searching for the appropriate 4L60-E transmission. Stay tuned. Does anyone have a 350 yoke they would like to sell, and would anyone like to buy a 400 yoke? Anyone know how much these things go for? Drew is making progress.
  8. Ok, so I ordered the bellhousing and flexplate/converter cover from Matt/Russ, 9 days ago. Still waiting for them. I'm going to call them later today to get an update.
  9. For Sale in New Jersey, for restoration or parts: 1996 Buick Riviera
  10. Ray: Thanks for the info. I will definately use some of it as reference. Bernie: The 200-4R is hopefully going into a 1985 Pontiac Grand Prix. It will bolt up with no modifications except for rear trans mount adjustment. John B: Thanks for the graph.
  11. P.S. Almost forgot, I'm also looking for a trans controller. So many things, so little money available.
  12. Ok, just an update. I spoke with Russ Martin, and he says that he has never had a complaint from someone using the 4L60-E transmission. Plus I discovered that the 4L80-E is a one piece belhousing. So today I ordered the bellhousing and flexplate cover from Russ. Now I am in search for a 4L60-E transmission. In the mean time I have a few things to sort out, as far as installation is concerned. I have to sort a shifter from shiftworx.com. I need to check my flexplate to see if the mounting holes are dual pattern. I also need to source either a different tail housing that is modified for cable speedo, or purchase an adapter for the 4L60-E tailhousing.
  13. Just wanted to confirm, that is the Thermactor/air pump - for emissions control.
  14. Thanks Tom. I have been doing some research. I started all of this with a 200-4R that was built to be behind a 400, then a 455 in a GTO clone. Unfortunately Russ didn't have any of the plates needed to put this trans behind the Wildcat. After waiting 10-1/2 months, he called me on Jan 4th 2021 to let me know he wasn't continuing with it. As a result, I've been sitting on a built 200-4R trans. So, I decided to go with the 4l60 or 4l80 trans. I know the 4l60 will fit, but I don't know how much bigger if any, the 4l80 is.
  15. Hi all. Question, I'm considering replacing my ST400 with SP transmission. I'll be using Russ Martins bellhousing with a 4L60 transmission. If anyone has done this swap, please post your experiences. If not, I'll post things as I start the project. Right now I'm searching for parts. I already have the belhousing and converter cover from Russ.
  16. This is Mr Lamb's replay to my craigs list email "THANK YOU ANY CAR OVER 10 YEARS OLD IS EXEMPT . THANK YOU LOUIS S LAMB." I guess he doesn't care that his craigslist ad is fraud/misrepresentation.
  17. I sent them an email thru craigslist. they still haven't changed the ad.
  18. Does anyone have a picture of the installtion? I just need to know if there are any clamps holding the pipe still. Thanks for all of the info.
