  1. The big glass franchises have occasional promotions on windscreen polishing. Like $150. I'm sure they'd extend to side glass. You're gonna drop almost a clam on tools/product anyway?
  2. Cerium Oxide This cat from a glass shop has a plan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JErQ72NH4jA
  3. " The Eldo, a fake Rolex, and Tag Heuer frames for my glasses would have made a matched set. To the topic Riviera, gold is brown in my book. And I don't like brown cars. They say resale red instead of resale brown for a reason. I go for the primary colors. Earthtones are for empty nester women with Volvos. Took 30 replies to finally get that out." Hilarious!. Too funny Thank you FlatTop - always good ones
  4. Ditto, the 80's were tough on hill climbers. I bought a new '87 Chevy S-10 V6 in the San Jaquin Valley. When I had to go over the grape vine I realized too late the mistake I made. The Greyhounds were passing me!
  5. Thanks EmTee. Whats new on Goldie? My swapped car may be viewed on my profile. Its got gold nuggets. At least the wifes' Caddy is gold.
  6. Just my opinion - gold is an elemental / earth shade that has appeal thru the ages. And its appropriate on a Riviera. It will surpass all trends. It fits well on this machine. Most (people) had an attraction to the color at one point - changed opinion later. Like most colors we attach a personal history. Go with the elements man! Au ROCKS!
  7. 2.3% on a Riv' only color WITH Moon Roof? Worth every Penny if in excellent condition. Just my humble middle class opinion. I'd say you found a rare gem.
  8. It might help to give an option list. Do I see a moon-roof??? Northern cars are the best IF they lived in a salt-free county. Gorgeous car and color
  9. San Andreas fault, Batman! Is that why you went with headers? Hard to find replacements?
  10. Yikes! And I thought 425 manifolds were bullet proof. How many miles on them?
  11. No regrets. I sure miss my ride because I'm away from her to much. And I miss all the shows and cruises. Plus side is it keeps the miles off her. I'll get mine out more next year. Cant wait. That is one fine ride you own. Great photo depth affect in that pic! I would love to have one like her and I'm sure gobs of others would love to be in your shoes. Keep her up!
  12. That is very generous. I don't need it now but I'd like buy 2, 14oz cans as back up. I see the infamous crusty oil on the bearing. No rush at all. Thank you much. - As you know, I think you can only ship compressed gasses ground which is just fine with me. If someone else is in dire need let them have priority please.
  13. Woo hoo! I'd be like a broke kid in the candy store. More pics, please Thank you
  14. Arrgh, no A.C. on a post modern gentlemens' cruiser. (No offense ladies) The buyer may need to remain in PA for comfort.
  15. Fantastic image. Before digital photography, it was common to use color filters with B&W film to enhance/change tones. In this case, an original (Blue) soft ray windscreen would appear almost black with a red color filter. Producing the dark band we see here. I'm betting promo' shoot with the front plate blanked.
  16. True dat! Why the heck did they apply GS on the rear? And if it remained gold...well it would be Fort Knox. Power locks on a '67! Extremely rare. That interior is insane - sin radio I'd love to know who did those seats....
  17. An extremely rare GS specimen with seat "cloth" inserts AND optional head rests. We just don't see these '67 interior gifts often. It takes a master upholsterer to do this right. Repainted (?) but still incredible: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Buick-Riviera-Gran-Sport-/332024441561?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4d4e32ead9:g:bG0AAOSwB09YH1HA&item=332024441561
  18. That '70 in Covington is an extremely rare and nice combo. And that is a very good neighborhood despite the background imagery. I lived near there once. Someone took care of that ride. Seems a fair price...I'm going to ask a family member in MS to check it out. Thanks guys.
  19. Mr. Kreed, You possess, perhaps, the most rare of Riviera medallions. Another option is to go with a Non-spinner cap. Those medallions are 1/8" smaller and much more common. The chrome cap bases can be purchased new from Corvette sources and they fit your SD hubcaps. Either way, I recommend a 5/32" tap with new screws to replace "welded" studs on your recycled ones. I've had complete success with this method. Best of luck and welcome back to a non mag world!
  20. Kreed, The CARS part will not fit your SD (P02) cap. That part is too small. These medallions were produced in many sizes thru the years. Some years are interchangeable. Last I knew, only 1 other much larger version was reproduced (at OPGI) and it may or may not be available. Can you send me a pic of the backside of your (removed) spinner next to a scale?
  21. Perhaps a BMW from 1967? I don't get it either. What a story....
  22. Indeed. Very strange. Maybe he discovered the bubble on the vinyl roof? Other issues? No air conditioning is a tough sell for some. Not very much profit IF it sells for that price. But I hope it does. All boats rise/fall with the tide. Poor car needs a home.
  23. I got an excellent condition manual antenna, escutcheon and power antenna delete bezel if any ROA member needs one. Just pay shipping.
  24. Jeeeeeez it hurts That pup better get adopted by a good family
  25. SOLD AND UP FOR RESALE? Here she is again - shipped coast to coast and the ante went way up. Pretty slick. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Buick-Riviera-/282239258077?forcerrptr=true&hash=item41b6c54ddd:g:0RkAAOSwcUBYFt3o&item=282239258077
